We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rip Van Winkle Gardens. The lady in the souvenir shop was friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and interesting. We loved taking pictures of the peacocks who seemed to pose for us.

This is a great tourist location and still offers the locals some good food. Tourist will enjoy the well kept grounds, the good food, and a good venue for weddings, parties, and business meetings. A good gift shop is located near the restaurant.

I've never stayed at the cottages. However, I'm pretty certain if you contact the establishment, they could better answer you questions.
