This rig is the WORLDS first moviable and reusable oil drilling rig. Designed, built and launched from southern Louisiana. Launched in 1954. All other rigs in the works come from the suceuss of this rig.

Very unique place. Friendly and very knowledgeable guide/ staff. You take petro products for granted and never give it a thought about the workers in that industry. The museum items reflects the history and shows how far things have progressed. Well worth the drive.
