The boat and all the people were really nice. If you go in winter, dress warm it is very, cold but worth it. Capt Ernie was a great teacher and found us some small Gators as the large ones are deep in the mud for...More

Cajun tours transported us and were over an hour late. Made our tour rushed and put a damper on the day for everyone on the bus. The Plantation guide was very well versed on history and well worth having.. but the Plantations were not impressive...More

Capt BeeBop took me, my wife, and 3 boys (15,12,12) out for a fantastic ride. It was overcast and drizzled, but we brought windbreakers and were fine. We knew that wildlife viewing would be muted in mid-winter - no gators - but plenary of birds...More

This is a very fascinating 3 hour bus tour of New Orleans with an emphasis on the damage and rebuilding since Katrina. The bus ride itself gets a 2 out of 5 (believe it's probably the roads but it's a very bumpy ride)! Content gets...More

This is a gorgeous property and our tour guide was excellent. It’s worth the trip from New Orleans. There’s also on site dining.

Great airboat tour. Larry was great, told us a lot about the swamp. Really wonderful tour so beautiful. We didn’t see any alligators due it being cold. Had a great time.

We enjoyed our tour with our guide Jeff. The small bus was comfortable, sound system good, and we learned so much about New Orleans on this tour. We had a 30 minute break at City Park where we could have a quick look at the...More

We had the swamp tour with Reggie and he was an excellent guide. He was very funny and informative on the swamp and alligators. He even had a baby gator stowed away everyone could hold and get pictures with! We saw several alligators as well...More

My husband and adult son and I went on a small airboat tour with captain Rocky. Had a great time. He gave some history about swamps and bayous wildlife and vegetation. Saw two alligators, one right next to our boat. Lots of different birds. The...More

After the boat tour (1-2 hour tour depending upon what you booked) you leave within 15-20 minutes and go straight back. Depending upon how many hotel drop off there are I would plan for being home 1 hour after you leave at... More

They make a brief stop at a park that serves soft drinks and beignets. Not sure if they have anything else or not. Because of the crowd we did not get anything.

What Janet A recommends sounds great. If you do not want to get your own car ask in NO for tours that suit you. There are many agents all offering similar stuff. For the swamp tour I would highly recommend to pay the extra... More
