I thought the tour was relaxing, perfect weather in March 2023 and it was my teens' first covered boat swamp tour (have done fan boat tour in past+miserable). They thought it was ok but the past tours across New Orleans from various companies was more exciting and had the wow factor. Our guide took us to a preserve area-30 mins outside of the Big Easy but no mid to large alligators, few in fact were seen, no alligators jumping out of the water for raw meat, no jumping or quickly moving gators rapidly coming to us for the cracklike marshmellows... The guide could not offer details or information on these things (and why no more) and why some areas /waterways are being narrowed or drained. What he did answer on was half baked responses. Regardless of absences of wow factor, etc., I would not advise this tour to be taken in the middle of or in late summer.
