I did this tour with a couple of friends last spring, and we had a great time! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was a beautiful tour and we learned a lot about both the nature in the...More

We just went on a Swamp Tour at Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours. The tour started off slow but then we were seeing gators big and small at every other turn! We saw turtles, bald eagles nest, and a grey egret! It was an hour and...More

The tour was great and entertaining and very informative! Wasn't too long or too short. They had snacks and a restroom on the boat too. All and all, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family!

Ok, I truly enjoyed this tour! I love outdoors/nature and this was perfect! Our tour guide was great and very very knowledgeable! The weather was perfect for October! We saw plenty of alligators! I will definitely do this tour again! Highly recommended!❤️

The start to the trip was a little annoying since we were told to meet at 12:30 sharp at our pick up point but the shuttle didn’t get there until about 1:15ish. But after we got started, the day got a whole lot better. We...More

It was well worth it. Captain Luke was knowledgeable and knew a lot of about the area, alligators and other habitats in the area. Don’t get your hopes up to see alligators up close in the colder months. However, we did see about 4-5 small...More

Beautiful scenery as we moved through the swamp by a slow moving canopied boat with a group of about 50 or so? We only saw a few small alligators and a few turtles. The cold weather of December is not ideal for seeing a lot...More

Touring the Lafitte Swamplands sounded like a good idea when I was planning our family’s trip to New Orleans. However, in retrospect, I wish I would have utilized those precious 5-ish hours in a better way as there is SO much to do and see...More

Yes. You should bring your own water or Gatorade. I recommend a camelback to enjoy the trails while keeping your hands free and staying hydrated. Enjoy!

Both, they will pick you up and drop you off. Be careful though, it is extra for the pick up and return service. It is not included in the advertised price.
