This was the highlight of our recent family vacation. Captain Brandon led us through a marvelous tour of the beautiful swamp around La Place. His knowledge and easy demeanor made for a fantastic experience. He was glad to slow down when we saw something special and to turn the boat around so everyone could take photos. While he cruises and... More

Fantastic swamp tour with Captain Brandon! Plenty of gator sightings, as well as osprey hunting, great white heron fishing, raccoons and deer. Brandon has tremendous knowledge of the local critters and shares it with just the right touch of local color. His reptilian "show and tell" gets you up close and personal with turtles, snakes and a baby gator. Great... More

Captain Tom guided us through the large, serene swamp. He is an exceptional guide - passionate, funny and knowledgeable. The tour lasted 1 1/2 hours. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife: alligators, turtles, blue heron, owl, and raccoons. We even had an opportunity to hold a baby alligator. This was something we have wanted to do for a long... More

We had a great and educational time visiting the bayous with Cajun Pride Swamp tours. The bayous themselves are beautiful, and we were fortunate to have a nice sunny day to enjoy them. Our tour took place on a boat captained by Captain Allen with about 25 people and lasted about an hour and a half. We motored slowly through... More

A fun and pleasant boat ride through the swamp, a must for families visiting New orleans area. Lots of alligators and assorted wildlife seen in their own habitat.

I was really looking forward to this trip and never left disappointed. Noel was our guide and was funny and very likeable but also very knowledgeable about the swamp, wildlife, flora, NOLA history/folklore and Cajun history. The trip lasted about 110 minutes but seemed to be faster just because of how enjoyable it was. We saw Alligator's, Turtles and Racoons.... More

Wow, this was a fun adventure. We saw cats. We saw dogs. We saw raccoons. We saw turtles. We saw gators. Not to mention all the amazing nature that surrounded us. The swamp was beautiful. I know that sounds weird and if you've never visited a swamp before, forget everything you think you know. The water was fresh and clean, the... More

Done this tour within an hour of arriving at Nola airport. Great introduction to the beauty and nature of the area. Great local stories from the captain and lots of small gators chasing after the boat like eager little puppies.Fantastic
