We had a wonderful time on this swamp tour! Captain Allen was so informative and showed us his love of the swamps. We learned so much about not only the creatures that live there but also the area. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does! We saw so many gators and now feel like we could... More

The driver that picked us up at the hotel, Cesar was full of information and took and impromptu tour of the city on the way out. At the Cajun Pride location, we got on the boat with Captain Tom. Tom speaks both French and English and is difficult to understand in both as he talks very fast and with a... More

I booked and paid in advance to Cajun Pride Tours an Oak Alley Plantation tour for 4 in December 2015 for our "Girls" trip in January 2016. I've toured several area plantations over the years, but my first at Oak Alley so needless to say I was so excited. Our transportation was excellent...however when we arrived at Oak Alley we... We went there this past Monday for a swamp boat tour but sadly, saw no Gators that day. Obviously it was cold do they usually tend to hide, but to see none in 90 minutes was a little disappointing. That being said, the captain did a phenomenal job and the staff was very nice and friendly. Our pack lunch was... More

Favorite part of my trip to NOLA with my girlfriend. I live in New York so it was an amazing thing to see. The swamp was beautiful and the tour guide was unbelievably nice and educated. We got to see many alligators and other wildlife and even got to touch multiple animals. They pick you up from your hotel for... More

Definitively feels kind of touristy. It is in a closed park and not an actual bayou that is why they can keep so many alligators in small area. However, you can probably see 50 different gators. Also even though it is a closed area you feel like you are in a bayou definitely a good view of nature.

We used Cajun Pride as part of a combo tour with Old River Road Plantation Adventure. We were picked up promptly from lunch and taken to the site. The guide was very interesting. He told us about growing up Cajun and how he's raised alligators. He took us all down the river and bayou and pointed out the alligators. Then... More

Sit back on your flat bottomed boat, covered in case of hot sun or rain, and let your informative guide take you round a privately owned and operated wildlife refuge. No captive breeding or alligator farming here. Not much happens, alligators guaranteed, birds come and go and racoons are tempted by marshmallows. Guide explains life in the swamp with the... More

It was a cold day here in NOLA. It had been overcast and raining the entire time we'd been around. We were instructed to wait in the lobby from 10:30 - 11 for someone to pick us up. 11 comes and goes and still no word. There was another couple who were sitting outside and I noticed they had a... We were travelled with our older kids and 3 year old grandson. It was winter and rainy, but our guide, Captain Brandon, made the trip worthwhile. We learned a lot about the swamp, the people, even New Orleans from both he and our bus driver. Brandon also brought live swamp creatures and skins on the boat where he schooled us... More
