My 7-year old loved everything about the Lake Charles Children's Museum. It was fun and interactive. We were there for three hours and didn't notice. The science show was VERY informative... a true learning experience for him. We plan to return again soon.

We took our 20 month old granddaughter and she had a blast! It isn't much of a "museum" but more like a late playhouse. Yes, it isn't as clean and fresh as one would hope. The little kids have fun here so if your not a knit picky germ-a-phobe. Go check out the Children's Museum. It's worth a couple of... More

I visited with my 4 year old grandson. He enjoyed several exhibits that were offered, especially the bubbles and water exhibit. I wasn't very impressed, but it IS geared toward children.

This museum was awesome. It doesn't look like much but we were pleasantly surprised. We are visitors to the area and went to get my niece and nephew out of the casino/resort area for a while. The kids loved it! There are three floors of activities and entertainment. My niece is 61/2 and my nephew is 18 months and we... More

We used to live in this area. My grandsons really enjoyed the museum with plenty of activities to take part. There is a store inside for purchasing and for quick meals.

Each time my grand-daughters from Ft Worth visit me we make a trip to the Children's Museum. They are love it! Never a crowd and they can go to each and every exhibit and enjoy it in an unhurried manner. They truly love this museum and ask to go each time that they visit. Ages 10 and & 7 years... More

The Children's Museum of Lake Charles, Louisiana was far below my expectations. Just because it is housed in an old building in downtown LC doesn't mean it should be kept that way. The rooms were messy and stinky and did not reflect the pride a "museum"should have. Maybe the word museum should be removed from the business name and replaced... More
