We took one morning to drive down to Lafitte from New Orleans and it was well worth the drive. We enjoyed a great tour of the bayou in a large covered pontoon. We saw dozens of alligators and even had the chance to watch the captain attract them over to us with marshmallows that they would actually leap out of the water to get. Great time.

We chose the boat instead of the airboat as my family was concerned about the noise. It was a good choice. A very pleasant ride on a great day. Saw several alligators and turtles.

We had a nice, relaxing ride. Alligators and all! You can tell that the gators are used to people coming and feeding them periodically and so they come right up to the boat. We booked through Gray Line Tours. The trip over and back was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to mix a little nature in on their New Orleans Trip.

My friends & I were excited about an airboat adventure & prepaid a deposit for each of our rides. The weather was high 70’s, sunny & beautiful. Overnight the temperature dropped to 50 & it was raining. None of us had shoes (only flip flops), socks, coats, etc to keep us warm. We were on vacation! Although it was raining & freezing they said they were not going to cancel & we’d lose our deposit if we didn’t go. We would have been miserable & frozen had we gone. I reached out to them several times & they didn’t care. I suppose this is how they get tourist money? We were disappointed we didn’t get to go but even more so at losing out on all our deposit money. We most likely would have tried again our next visit here but certainly not with this company! Ridiculous!

It’s December so I didn’t expect to see alligators. I DID expect a ride through the Swamp with guide narration since the tour description called it a guided tour. “Captain” Monkey did not say one word about the swamp, ecosystem, trees or water. For $130.00 I definitely expected more for the money. It’s pretty bad when our bus driver, Alton, showed more enthusiasm and interest while explaining the sights getting to the Swamp tour. If you like riding through a swamp looking at trees and water, no wildlife, and a “Captain” who just plays music without talking to guests, then this is the tour for you.
Alton, our driver is to be commended for his skillful and calm driving even when confronted with roadblocks.

The tour guide mentioned multiple times that he knew there wouldn’t be any alligators out, that they would be in the mud because of the salt water. He also mentioned because of the weather. I understand you can’t control nature, but if there’s a chance of this happening it would have been nice to know up front, especially with how expensive the tour was. The guide was boring, and very little information about the gators or animal/ nature.

No alligators, but they don’t tell you that when you purchase the tickets. Half a day we could’ve used at the WWII museum.

We were late for are time and they wouldn't give us a refund since they didn't have available seats for the rest of the day. They had a 24 hour cancelation policy which we were still under 20 hours but they still wouldn't give us a refund. Had to contact my bank. Won't be using this company or recommending.

If you want to see the trees of Louisiana this is a great attraction other than that saw 3 birds and our boat got stuck a few times. More of a river tour than a swamp tour. The PA system was out so we couldn’t hear the actual tour guide. No music, no excitement, and no alligators.
