The Butterfly sanctuary is also worth a visit to see various species of butterflies. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us various stages of the butterfly life cycle. I personally learnt alot and enjoyed the visit. There are beautiful butterfly inspired picture opportunities too.

When we went here there are few butterflies in the area but they have ample exhibits and knowledgeable tour guides. They also sell local cuisine, souvenirs; but what really worth when we went here for a stop is their ice cream placed in a plastic tube (it cost 35 pesos). It is creamy especially the ube flavor. One of the... More

In order to maintain the objectivity of the review, I have set five categories which I usually look for every time we visit in a tourist attraction. Each category will represent one (1) star so as to complete five (5) stars. These categories the following: Beauty/Aesthetic/Scenery (+) Accessibility (+) Uniqueness (+) Price/Economy (+) Staff (+) I am giving the place... More

I tell you that I would have normally skip this type of attraction because I've been to a few of them around the world. However, the tour guide was so knowledgable, really humorous that he made it all fun! Do this if you have time on the way to chocolate hills.

As far as butterfly sanctuaries go, this is one of the least impressive I have ever visited. I suspect it was because I went at the tail end of a very long dry season, so fewer insects. The guides seemed to be doing a good job of entertaining the local tourists with information and enthusiastic comments about their selfies. In... More

My daughter loves butterfly, so we enjoyed our trip here. Seeing her so happy such a beautiful site. The staff gave us a number of the tour guide that we will have inside the butterfly sanctuary, tour guide number 21. His name is Arjon, I would say that he is an addition to the site because he is very funny,... More

Its a fun filled experience being there at the butterfly sanctuary. Nice to know facts are being taught by the guides. They will give you information and at the same time - be your photographer. Before that, a 50 pesos entrace fee is needed for the preservation of the area. From eggs, to larvae, to pupa, you can see the... More

My children enjoyed the way this tour was presented, the operators were knowledgable and very entertaining. There were plenty of photo opportunities if your into butterflies and moths. I felt there were more dead butterflies than live ones but for a short visit it was sweet.

Hi this was just perfect for our family visit. The guide was super patient with our young children and made good fun as we passed around. Lunch was ok / average but as they say did the job... Re the butterflies we were lucky as lots were out and the kids loved it !

Our tour guide made this such a funny & pleasant tour. It was very quick though, you will be done viewing this sanctuary in about 15 mins. Very nice & interesting facts about butterflies. There will be several fun photo sessions which will be taken by your tour guide while you are here.
