The lowest minimum on table games I could find on a Saturday afternoon was $15. But, the worse news is every blackjack table I saw paid ONLY 6 to 5 for a blackjacl. This creates an even bigger advantage for the casino. Plus, there were ridiculously few cashiers to cash in one's winnings. My advice to the casino management is to take some of the obsene winnings and hire enough staff to service the suckers. I assure you, I will not be one of them again!

I am not a gambler so I was somewhat lost. There are many who you can tell spend a lot of time here, some playing several machines at a time.
Most anyone you asked how to play or for advice were kind enough to show you the ropes. Many don’t need to be there but to each their own.

I am not a smoker so that was definitely a turn off for me. Even the small nonsmoking area was penetrating with smoke smell. We smelled of smoke even after we showered because it was so penetrated in our jackets.

The buffet was great, a little pricey but worth it if you have time to sit there and eat and if you are a great eater.

They do give out many gifts if you are a regular from what we could see.

I personally would not return unless they upgrade the ventilation system for sure.

The concert was only an hour long and disappointing to say the least.

Overall, it was just a getaway with free concert tickets.

It's been several years since we spent a night at Coushatta. This was a short notice reservation so the comp room selections were limited. However, they gave us a room identified as one for hearing handicapped customers. While the room was clean, the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy. My wife slept little to none. It's somewhat humorous that a very noisy room is presented as one for hearing impaired customers. Gaming at Coushatta has been quite good on our fairly frequent visits. Service is decent, although they do have self-serve drink dispensers available. A place we'll likely continue to visit; however, probably not spend the night at. Since it's only 45 minutes from Lake Charles, you also have other services and casinos available within the area.

Table games start off at $15 minimum whereas Lake Charles casinos is $10. The casino is not regulated by the state, which makes me leary of the programming of card shuffling machines. Table games are limited. No Ultimate Texas Holdem. The restaurants are poor and lack ambiance. Drink service at machines is almost nonexistent. Scratching off my list and will stick with Lake Charles. One saving grace you can use comps earned and get gas so you can get the hell out of Kinder

We always stop by here on our trips. Last time was in April2020. This time things have really changed in Feb 2021, the restaurants all have increased prices big time. Don't know if trying to make up for lost revenue or what. $5 breakfasts are $8 to 10 now. Cheaper to eat dinner in town and support local businesses.

We had a short but fun visit on a Monday. This tribal casino has really improved over the years. But, on this day they were experiencing air conditioning issues. Luckily, good video poker pay tables and straight forward dealing with a fun dealer at the Mississippi Stud table somewhat compensated for the sweaty environment for an hour or so. The drive from Lake Charles is only 45 minutes. And, although Coushatta is a large casino, there’s not much else in this small rural town. Not to discount a few unique off-site eateries. Maybe that’s why they make an attempt to provide decent gaming.

I have been going to Coushatta for as long as they have been open. Like many of the other reviewers, I can attest to the fact that it has steadily gone downhill, mostly since "new management" took over a couple of years ago. The slots are so tight you can't even have fun...you expect to lose, but they could at least let you have a little fun and get to play for a while before you do! The Terrace Cafe is, and always has been, poor service and poor food. Bathrooms don't even have hot water and are not kept as clean as they should be. The employees are nice and most of them try to help you have a good experience while you are there, but it is extremely obvious that most of them are not happy.

Bottom line....DON'T GO TO COUSHATTA. Try another casino, one that still gives their patrons a chance to win something.

We went for a golf tournament and enjoyed our stay. Although exhausting and didn’t do much, we still enjoyed what we did. Staying at Seven Clans and walking to the casino was easy. I like that the the elevators have hand sanitizer stations in them. Only complaint I have is people are still allowed to smoke inside the casino. It’s stinks and wish it wasn’t allowed. We did enjoy walking around and going eat at the different restaurants except Gumbeaux’s. It wasn’t great and the lady checking us out was lacking personality. She seemed annoyed to be there. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

I was stunned well I went to the ATM and found the withdrawal fee was $15.95. I totally understand that the casinos do not supply the machines however they do have control over what they will allow the vendor to charge and $15.95 is unreasonable. It’s not like you’re not spending enough at the slots or tables. I will not be going back just for that reason. Losing my money in the machines of the slots as part of the entertainment value and I accept that. Paying an additional $15.95 is not entertainment is a slap in the face and one of those for the cal “ Soccer bets”.

Another thing taken away plus price of buffet has gone up still. I went to eat the buffet and they now charge 5.00 per bucket for crawfish (tickets required). They had the all you can eat crawfish last year and the year before and earlier. This place just keeps going downhill. Go to LauBerge Du Lac or Golden Nugget. Both these casino resorts include all you can eat crawfish with their buffet for the same or less than the price you pay at the Casino Coushatta Resort. Here, every year, you pay more for less.
