My husband and I played this course when we were camping at Lake Bistineau State Park. It was close and only $30 to play so we thought we would check it out. We pulled into an amazing neighborhood and thought the course would be awesome. How wrong we were. The clubhouse is lovely and there was 1 girl working. The first bad sign was the condition and cleanliness of the carts. They were dirty and full of grass. We made our way to Meadows 1 after getting lost (poorly marked). Every hole was terrible. Piles of dried grass in the fairways (we lost 4 balls in the middle of the fairway because of all the grass), trash in the middle of the fairway, weeds growing 5 inches tall and piles of sand on the greens, bunkers overgrown with weeds, sprinklers watering hillsides or flooding a green and the list goes on and on. In it’s heyday this course was something special and could be again with the right owners. It is a crime they have let it go. We did try to get a refund to no avail. They said it was discounted anyway but it should not even be open. STAY AWAY!

My husband and I did the Audubon Golf trail for the last 10 days and planned our hotel stays around the courses listed as official Audubon Trail courses. This course was so bad it was a total waste of time. The pro shop was pretty but was about it. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were the worst we've ever seen. Most greens had little to no grass. Equipment around the course were unkept, no water, etc. Very sad.
