Love it. Have discovered a lot of trinkets and gifts ranging from toys, girdles and yo-yo's to tools. New and used

This is a great local flea market that has been around for at least thirty five years! Wonderful place to get a bargain and to find unique and interesting treasures. Vendors are friendly and ready to deal!

Not ur average inside market
Dec 2017 • Couples
The inside facilities are laid out well to be able to see it all. The outside exhibits stretch around the facility extending on into the tree line. Lots of good fines and thanks to repurpose.

Ok flea market.

This flea market is only open on weekends. Lots of booths in an air conditioned building and tables outside. We went on a Sunday afternoon and many booths were closed so we were disappointed about that. Maybe more are open on Saturday. The market has every kind of thing: tools, furniture, kitchen things, clothes, etc. Some booths you have to dig through, but that makes it fun. There is a place that sells food. Make sure you bargain, you can get some good deals. Have been to better, this one is average.

Mid Continent Inn
Jun 2016 • Family
Because this hotel is near the park and NOT LISTED on Trip Advisor, I am reviewing it here. Mid Continent Inn at Greenwood, LA, is right on Interstate 20: 8580 Greenwood Rd, Greenwood, LA 71033, 318-938-5423.
We had been traveling 13 hours and needed to stop for the night, but we weren't finding anything satisfactory on our Trip Advisor search. We pulled up to this unlisted motel a bit dubious, but we found a double room, 1st floor, non-smoking, with frig and microwave, clean sheets, flat screen TV, free wifi, and good lighting inside and out, for $71. We were grateful to find the room and surprised by the cleanliness and comfort. Mid Continent Inn is a very basic hotel-- no frills, no breakfast, simple furnishings. Even though it isn't a "vacation destination", we would choose it again as an overnight stop.

Interesting flea market. Part outside part inside. Vendors on sight. So you can haggle prices which I love. I got a Kuerig coffee Machine for $15. All kinds of things to see and buy for everyone.

Cool finds
Jun 2015 • Friends
My husband and I went here with friends, who are locals, and it was a nice small flea market. The outside area was where we found most of our finds; I felt this was because the vendors inside pricing was a bit higher (maybe because it was nice in cool inside). Of course, it is hot normally so be prepared to sweat but it's worth it if you like finding cool things and searching through other peoples junk. Would definitely go back and recommend if you like to find antiques, crafting items, or even yard sale type items. ***Oh, if you are a comic book reader there is a booth inside that is covered in them and all in neatly folders; I picked up one for my step-father.

Highly recommend!!
As a child, my parents always brought us to this flea market and I always loved coming here. Now, we take our children, who both love it as well. In fact, they always ask us to go.. especially when they are looking for certain things to add to their many collections of "stuff."
The flea market is always a fun family outing. Yes, there are some junk items, but mostly some great treasures.. new and old. The vendors prices are reasonable and they will negotiate! The inside building is well laid out and easy to stroll through. Many shops to explore. A concession stand and a nice little area with tables to eat at is stationed at about the middle point. The prices are very reasonable and the food is what you'd expect at any concession stand. The kids love stopping for a snack.
When finished with the inside their are many vendors set up outside right in front and in back of building as well. Off to the side is a clutter of old shacks with things piled up inside and out, so this area is a little harder to navigate due to the over load of junk thrown about & piled up. This area is definitely mostly junk.
If you enjoy flea markets, then you should visit here. We have found many great items through out the years!
