These ladies are fabulous, and this is a great space.

Much love to you ladies, you are one of those treasures of history, and your both filled with southern charm and know your history. Your Uncle Jerry was the bomb, and this museum is filled with lots of moments in time that are intimate. Your drinks to go out back also makes me happy. I look forward to seeing y'all this summer again.

Meet Jerry Lee's niece!
Aug 2018 • Friends
On a hot August afternoon we were warmly welcomed by Jerry Lee's niece who now manages the museum following the recent death of her mother and while working at the adjacent convenience store at the same time (do look out for her in the store if the house is closed).
She showed us around and told us nice stories (more about her family in general than on her uncle specifically, and mainly about how her mother had made a sort of life mission of protecting the family's heritage) and even let us alone in the house to go through all the loads of memorabilia only to check in every now and then to make sure we were alright and telling us we could stay as long as we wanted.
It's indeed a very nice journey back in time in a remote corner of Louisiana very off the beaten path.
Sure, Jerry's niece only told us that "it would be ten dollars each for the visit" while we were on our way out but we would actually have been surprised if it had been free.
Truly recommended if you happen to be in the Natchez area as it's just a 20 minute drive from there.

Jerry Lee Lewis = Last Man Standing
Sep 2018 • Couples
Totally Amazing !! This is a MUST SEE item.
First there has been some changes. One enters through the "Pic-Quick" drive thru convenience store. They will give you information about viewing the Lewis family home and collection. Quite extensive information on the Lewis family and this is early days home of Jerry Lee Lewis. Tons of pictures and stuff.
Donation is $10 per person for interior tour of the house

Amazing!
Apr 2018 • Family
While visiting the Delta Music Museum in Ferriday, the staff there gave us directions to this Museum as it is a little hidden away and not obvious when passing by.

On the day we visited there had sadly been a very recent bereavement in the family so we were not expecting to be able to go inside. Very graciously given the circumstances, one of the family's very close friends opened the museum up specially for us and another couple who were visiting and we were able to look around. Wow! I was utterly overwhelmed and awestruck by the amount of family memorabilia that had clearly been lovingly treasured and painstakingly presented over the years first by Jerry Lee's mother and then sister. Everything is here in the family home, it's like walking through a personal family antique store. Signed photos, articles and picture cover practically every wall, and room after room is a treasure trove of Jerry Lee memorabilia and personal artefacts.

If you're a Jerry Lee fan (or even if you're not) this place is definitely worth making the time to visit. It's truly amazing!

Frankie Jean made us very welcome in her home and it gave a real insight into the background of a modern musical icon. A real unforgettable morning.

What an experience!
Dec 2015 • Couples
Having read the reviews on TripAdvisor, we visited the Lewis house not knowing what to expect . We need not have worried. Frankie Jean welcomed us warmly and was the perfect hostess. True, it was difficult to get her to talk about Jerry Lee but the vast array of memorabilia on every surface in the house more than made up for that. The insight into current and earlier life in Ferriday, Louisiana was alone worth the visit. Nuggets such as the time when Elvis and his parents visited the house were priceless, if difficult to extract. Frankie Jean doesn't charge an entrance fee but welcomes donations. We had an afternoon to remember.

Birthplace of Jerry Lee Lewis

Visiting the Lewis House and Jerry Lee Lewis Museum was a highlight of all my rock and roll travels. Frankie Jean was kind enough to allow us to tour the house at our leisure and was friendly and welcoming to us, like we were family. The museum should not be missed by anyone that is interested in Rock and Roll history and specifically the roots of Rock and Roll and The Killer, Jerry Lee. Frankie Jean is a treasure herself and is a generous and kind soul to allow visitors to her home. True southern hospitality at it's finest. Go and visit and be sure do donate generously to the museum to keep it operating.

Unusual to say the least
Oct 2014 • Family
Frankie Jean is Jerry Lee's younger sister and keeps her home as a virtual shrine to Jerry, plus as a haven for her rescue dogs. People kept trying to steer us away from visitng; there is virtually no sign. So of course we had to stop in. This is NOT FOR EVERYBODY. The place, though clean, suffers from disorganization. Frankie is eccentric, to say the least -- inpossible to keep her on topic -- but if you want to meet a character (who sincerely loves her brother but promises to tell the truth) and have patience for non-sequitors, Frankie Jean would be glad to talk to you. Be prepared to offer a donation. She is a well-meaning and generous person. For my husband this was the highlight of the trip -- not so much for the museum but because he likes unique, unvarnished individuals. FOr me, not so much, but I certainly won't forget it!

First off, got there at 12 and the tours don't start till 1. They were very nice and took us thru anyways. Jerry's nephew was our guide. He let us know ahead of time how much it would cost ($10). Interesting man. The tour was good but I felt there could be changes to attract visitors. 1) The nephew talked about himself the entire time. I'd personally like to know more intimate things about Jerry. But any questions I had he thoroughly answered them about Jerry. 2) I think when guests enter the house up the stairs, there should be Jerry's music playing at all times just as Graceland has of Elvis'. 3) I'd like to see more Jerry artifacts such as clothes, shoes, etc. Rather than walls and walls of photos of Jerry, random family members, and other celebrities.
The house was old but nice. I didn't find it dirty, dim, or smelly. The family seemed like great people. Our guide was funny and very polite. He was laid back and very open to questions. If your hoping to see a bunch of Jerry memorabilia, you won't get that here. You'll get pics, piano, and rooms. But you will get the down home country family who could give a crap less what anyone thinks about them. That's what makes them stand out.
