We just completed the 3d/2n "Tiger Cave Adventure Series" and all agreed that this has been the most incredible single experience of our three years (so far) in Vietnam. This is a totally professional outfit that helped us book, arrange every aspect of the trip and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. We also know from shopping around that the prices are the most competitive - and the trek is the most challenging. Our tour guides Trung and Salat were amazing, caring professionals who, along with a team of staff and porters took great care of our group. Honestly, I hadn't wanted to go with a large group and was a bit worried about that. But in the end, we were glad to have the chance to make so many new friends - two of whom we ended up flying home with after the trip. The gear Jungle Boss provides is high-quality. I mean the sleeping bags and towels smelled better than my own at home!! The canteens and food services were clean and well done. Only be aware that they don't have hiking boots or water shoes for feet larger than a US 11.5/12. I knew that and planned ahead. The food was delicious - there was plenty of water for us at all times. Heck, according to my watch, I even slept pretty well both of the nights! This trek is seriously demanding. It's not like those cruise ship tours that consider walking up a set of stairs to be strenuous. There was repelling and some very basic rope work in one of the caves. The staff, however, made sure we were always safe. Again, this was the most incredible thing we've done in Vietnam.

I hate to do this because I know 2020 hit phong nha really hard, but this trip was awful and all of it was easily avoidable. For starters 15 people on a jungle hike is just insane and should never be done again. They need to have limits on the group sizes or warn people when it's going to be an extremely large group like this 2nd age limits maybe? Our group consisted of 3 families of 4 each having children between 7 and 14. Then 3 physically fit young adults. Obviously there was going to be disparity in the groups abilities and desires. 3rd everyone was absolutely lovely, the porters, the guide, the other people on our trip, etc. But lovely doesnt mean good. Within the first hour of the tour 1 of the kids was 300m behind on a 500m stretch of road and had given up, sitting down in the middle of the road and whining. At that moment I knew we were doomed. I knew and the guide should have known to separate the groups at that moment. Instead we hiked "2 hours" in the jungle at that child's pace aka 3 hours, standing around in leech and poison ivy infested traffic jams all while he cried and whined. 4th- an obvious money grab- there was no reason to even do the 3 hour hike. Both caves in the Ma Da valley are 30 minutes from the road. The caves are awesome but the "lake" is no bigger then an average pool at someone's home. We hiked three hours to see the worst part of the whole trip. 5th- poorly maintained trails- if you're going to lead massive groups with 7 year olds then maybe consider their safety whilst clearing trails. Some basic maintenance, aka one guy with a machete for 1 day could have made the hike way more accessible I hate leaving negative reviews but these problems could have been resolved at every level of the company. A. Dont make routes that blatantly waste peoples time. I would pay the same amount to see both caves and skip the "lake" even if it meant the tour was 3 hours shorter. B. Train your guides to recognize problematic situations- we thought at the beginning we might be in some trouble. When I saw the kid give up in the first hour I knew it was going to be miserable. The guide should have noticed this and done something. Address the parents and arrange a transport to skip the difficult part, us one of the 4 other staff members to lead the more advanced group, or countless other ways. C. Warn your group of 3 that they will be in a massive group including super young children.... Again the staff, most of the kids, and the parents were all awesome people, but the Jungle Boss company did literally everything wrong with this one and they need to sort this out if they want to stay competitive

My husband and I took the one day Elephant cave and Na Da valley tour yesterday and it was a fabulous day. We are seniors, we are both pretty fit; however the trek was still quite challenging. There were many sharp and slippery rocks to navigate to follow the trail through the jungle and to get to the last cave. However, our guide Chung made what could have been an arduous day fun. And always with an eye to our safety in climbing over the rocks. We had a delicious lunch grilled and prepared at the Na Da Lake, where we swam and rested for the next leg of the trek. I was a little worried about the swim into the last cave, where we had to don light-equipped helmets and life vests, but that was the highlight of the day. Chung made sure that we enjoyed the day and came back to our homestay tired and happy. Jungle Boss tours is a highly professional operation and I highly recommend this tour.

We, a group of three just come back from 3 days trekking tour with Jungle Boss (23th-25thJuly, 2020). The trip is an exhilarating from beginning to end. Jungle Boss is well informed and reliable, they provides us all an important information before the trip. Our guide Bửu is the best, he is petty kind, enthusiastic & good sense of humour. We find him like an old friend that haven't met for ages. The porters are also excellent, helpful & they cooked a plenty of yummy meals for us throughout the trip. I highly recommend Jungle Boss to all my friends & of course, I will look forward to book another great tour with them again soon.

I booked tour Tiger cave 3 days 2 nights for my boyfriend and I on 28-30 July. Thanh gave me great support to understand what we could expect to this tour and contacts of the bus and hotels for us. Since we're vegans, they also make a began menu for us. We're looking for our private tour with them so much. Unfortunately, the government just locked down Da Nang because of Covid so we have to avoid traveling and cancelling oue tour. Thanks Jungle Boss for your aupoort! We hope to do the tour with you when this covid finishes. Stau strong!
