Mooc Stream Quang Binh! Located far from the city center, it takes about 2 hours by car. The bathing stream is cool and clean, but I feel the ticket price is high compared to the service.

We wanted to enjoy the sun and the river and this trail supported that wish. We chose to pay for just the walk - 80k VND each. This meant that we could walk along bamboo paths which run along and over the river. When we arrived at nearly the end of the trail, we paid 10k each to have a swim which was a fun way to cool off.

We avoided the 180k option of kayaks and other activities as it was busy with families. The swim was much quieter. We would recommend this option for a couple of hours, or longer if you have a family. It's a nice break from the caves and the setting is picturesque.

The stream is very beautiful and the water is fresh and cool, so nice to swim there, But we have met many Vietnamese tourist on that day, Saturday. You should be here in the afternoon, I think that is better.

Expensive to visit for not much to do. Small lagoon with a rickety bridge you can jump off of and a few scattered kayaks (not all have oars either). The guards are extremely irritating re life jackets, I genuinely cant see the point, I can swim and with a life jacket its harder to swim, and if it's because they're worried I'd get knocked out or something then that wont help either as my head could still be in the water! (Sorry rant over). Food was mental expensive and very limited in options. But overall the whole experience was ruined by the lifeguards and creepy workmen looking at us in swim suits. Avoid!

The path is more like 200m each way. They charge you extra on top of the 80,000 dong in order to swim. The water is shallow and has lots of rocks and algae. There where no orchids though advertised. Basically just go to the river in phong nha on your own and save time and money. Very little nature on the trail and barely out of sight of the road, might as well park there and walk along the road for free. More a scam than a tourist attraction.

Visited there because wanted to go to swim. The price was ridiculous 180 000 VND. The safety lockers are at the ticket booth, which is far from where you actually spend your time, so we took everything with us.

The spring is not very big, and kayaks are in the same spot. We stayed 45 minutes and left. You are not allowed to go to swim without a lifejacket, no matter how good swimmer you are. You can swim free in the river elsewhere, so there's no need to pay the price here. Food is also quite expensive here. Getting to the spring isn't very easy from the slippery rocks. It is not very deep and there are big rocks, so we felt like no jumping. With that price you might think they would have a proper ladder or something to get in the water easily. We didn't see any. The place was a little bit unorganised.

The Best thing was the crystal clear spring water and refreshing feeling you get after swimming. Also there were some tiny fish you can see easily with swimming goggles.

Don't get me wrong, the place is ok. But the marketing and those beautifully edited photos bring the expectation of me and a lot of others really high up. When we get there, we were a little disappointed.

- The water was sooo cold. It's not "cool".
- The water was not as green and clear as it appears on pictures.
- The entertainment is there, but not much we can do for more than 1 hour.
- The price is kind of expensive, and if we consider the time it takes to get there... this really deserve a 2 stars.

This is a classic tourist trap.

The area where you can swim an kayak is very small. The kayaks are rubber boats and as the area where you can use it extremely small.
Swimming is only allowed with a life west on.
Food is expensive.

There are better sights and things to do in the area.

There are two parts of the the park, the expensive one which seems like a water fun park or the cheaper one which is basically a relatively large body of water under a very small waterfall or rapid.
On a blue sky day, its pleasant and I spent the day reading a book and my wife went for swims. Yes it is compulsory to wear life jackets, it is a health and safety issue and many Vietnamese I talk to can't swim, I guess it is easier to make one rule for everyone. You have to hire the life jacket for 10k dong and they seem quite new and you can use them as seats if you like.
You can grab any of the workers and order food or drinks and they will deliver it to you, it is expensive especially the food, we ordered a whole chicken and sticky rice for 320k dong, more than what I pay for back in Australia.

Spent half day here with lots of fun with friend. I was impressed with clean and sparkle water of this spring, the green color warer makes the different to the other springs i have been before. Food was good and reasonable even to local people like us. Beautiful surrounding areas and really nature place for a visit in summer.
