My wife and I did the 2 day 1 night Hang Tien excursion with Hung (pronounced Hong). This was one of the best adventures we’ve done. The trek itself was difficult at times (sharp limestone rock, steep uphill/downhills) and very hot/humid (>100 F at night with 80% humidity) but it was so worth it. Hung and his team make the trek relaxed, fun, and he shares information and facts along the way. You go through three different caves total, and they are total pro’s at knowing where the best picture spots/angles/lighting are. During the breaks, the porters/team all fan you to cool you off. There’s plenty of water provided. We brought our own boots (highly recommend)- don’t worry, they don’t get destroyed, just a bit muddy, easily cleaned afterwards. No leeches at all (something we were quite worried about prior to the trip) but there were tons of mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray/deet. The sights are breathtaking and this is a once in a lifetime adventure that is a must-do in Vietnam.…

Hi Kaushal! We're pleased to receive this wonderful feedback from you and would like to thank you for being part of our 2-Day Hang Tien Discovery. Hang Tien is the biggest dry cave of the enormous Tu Lan Cave System and we're so glad that you could enjoy the experience thoroughly and appreciate this trip. Hung is certainly an excellent tour guide and we'll happily convey your kind comments to him and the rest of the team that accompanied you on tour. Once again, thank you for choosing Oxalis Adventure and recommending it! We look forward to taking you on another amazing journey in the near future. Best regards, Oxalis Adventure Team

I did the Hang En cave with a group of friends and we all absolutely loved it. The first day is mostly down hill and then flat the majority of the way. It was the middle of summer when we went so it was definitely hot, but they supply you with water and stop along the way to rest. We personally felt the pace was a bit slow at times, but that is mostly chalked up the broader group rather than the guides. The food that's provided is delicious and they cater to vegetarians - literally noone went hungry and there was almost always left overs. Everything is well organised and there's toilets at the campsite and the cave and the swimming is honestly surreal and was just an amazing experience! The trek back is definitely more difficult, and it's 450m elevation and we were all incredibly sweaty afterwards but they have cold drinks at the end. Our tour guides (Dong, Trying and Hong) were lovely and helpful along the way. One of us forgot left some shoes behind at oxalis office and Dong was even so long and delivered them to our homestay afterwards! Shout out to the porters as well, who carried all our stuff? Dong …

Well run operation. Great mix of flat and limestone crag jungle followed by the amazing caves and a tasty field lunch. Phi was a great guide! Although only 4km out and same back, in July heat/humidity that will be enough for the average unaclimatised tourist from my pov.

This tour is excellent. They really go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of on the tour. Some of the other reviews say this as well, but for the hang en cave tour, it’s about a 3Km downhill, then 8k flat along the river into the cave. Just keep in mind you have to come back up that the next day. The porters are great and helped our group carry their backpacks when some of the group was struggling to get back up :) as a separate note, I would avoid staying at the oxalis home. It’s not that the place is particularly bad, but for the price they charge, it left room for improvement on multiple fronts, I stayed at Karst Villas the night before OxalisHome for the exact same cost, and I found myself wishing I had just booked another night there, considering that OxalisTour will provide a shuttle for you anyway.…

Went for the TuLan 2 days trek. All the logistics were well planned. Felt safe despite the challenging terrain. The campsite was a lovely surprise-clean and no litter. Well organised despite there being a private tour as well as our group. Never were there time where I felt rushed. Thank you Truc and the safety officers Hai and Tam. Despite my glasses fogging up in the humidity and thus affecting my balance and depth perception, I felt safe and well taken care of. Food were ample and delicious.…
