I and my friend visited Bohol with the determination to become a certified OW diver. We researched a lot about the diving centers and found Seaquest. They have the best price and we had the course with Dennis. Dennis is definitely amazing and knows the best ways to teach us. We enjoyed diving with him! We had some concerns since diving can be dangerous in some ways but Dennis ensured we know all the rules and helped us a lot. My friend had some issues with seasickness. Dennis prepared medicines for her and encouraged her to try again. She was able to complete the course successfully! Dennis is fun to dive with and keep us relaxed and enjoyed during the whole course. All the staff we encountered at Seaquest were friendly and awesome. Jack the captain who gave us boat rides also helped us a lot with carrying the heavy equipments. We are so glad that we did the course with Seaquest and of course Dennis, the best instructor :) We sure want to dive with him again and maybe also do the AOW with him!

Done my PADI open water course at Seaquest with Dennis what a lovely and helpful and patient Guy (he needed to be) also did a couple of follow up fun dives every one was so helpfull and welcoming and acting so professionally!! If you are thinking about diving when you come to Alona beach make sure you choose Seaquest!! Had a great time and thanks again Dennis regards Guy 👍🏻👍🏻

Had the pleasure of Reese being our guide with over 10 dives. She was very professional and fun. The dives were amazing and there was an abundance of marine life. When I'm back in Bohol I would only consider this dive store due to the great experience I had and know that they take safety precautions seriously. Thanks Reese for making my trip in Bohol much more Enjoyable

As a newbie, I started my first dive here in seaquest. My instructor is Dennis Heyvaerts and Jason as teaching assistant. Dennis is very nice,humorous and patient. I learned a lot from his explanation and demonstration. His impressive teaching method let me master the diving skills fast. Go diving with him in the sea is also quite fun and joyful. We even experienced heavy rain and strong wave one time after diving which was an impressive memory for both of us. We will feel safe and trusted if Dennis is accompanied. Finally, although learning is a hard work,I have not only finished my OW course but also accomplished AOW course and be certified with the support and encouragement of Dennis. Appreciation for my instructor Dennis, teaching assistant Jason, guide Kate and the captain ! The experience wa really a wonderful new year gift !

Me and a friend did a dive refresher course with Jomel after 3 years of not diving. The equipment was really good. He was really patient and explained everything really well. It took 4ish hours with a bit of pool skills, a bit of a theory test, before we went out to the reef for a dive where he pointed out heaps of different fish. It really improved our confidence for our next dives. Thank you very much Jomel for looking after us!

We didn’t have any experience at diving, but it was my dream to learn how to do it.
As we arrived at the dive center the atmosphere was so relaxed. We felt welcome from the start.
Our dive teacher was Dennis, a really relaxed person who makes you feel comfortable. He answered all our questions while watching the theory video’s.
In the pool his signals were really clear! Even when I was panicking he tried a different approach to get me through it. I am grateful he stayed so confident in me succeeding.
The ocean dives, as this was a new big unknown world , were so nice! Dennis really paid attention to the both of us at all time. We didn’t feel scared or unsafe and enjoyed every second of it.

Already my second time visit at this amazing place. We had such pretty dives with great reef!! The staff is very kind and helpful. Here they make the dive courses fun and enjoyable. Thanks to Dennis i just finished my advanced and nitrox. Would definitely say this is my favorite divecenter. Hope to come again!

Kudos to Dennis! We truly had fun diving with him. He is very detailed with the diving drills and made sure we are doing it right. Very accommodating and a great instructor! Will definitely be back for our Advance Diving Course in 6mos 😉

I took my AOW course with Dennis.I enjoyed very much the 5 dives in two days. Dennis’ instructions were very clear and supportive in the whole course. He is very friendly and relaxing person too which was helpful in my case coz I am not very used to water and usually feel nervous and stressed during the dives. And he answered my many curious questions about the creatures we saw under water afterwards which is so interesting to me. Overall I would recommend the dive shop and Dennis!

I used SeaQuest in their Alona Beach, Bohol location on 3 Feb. 2012 for a couple dives to Cabilao.
My bill for two dives was just under 5000 pesos, or about 2500 a dive. This is about 30 to 40 percent more than the 1500 to 1300 pesos/dive I paid at Scuba World and Mr. Diver, respectively, two other on the following three days.
The equipment was new and in good repair. The guides were capable and professional. The service was good.
The manager in Alona is a grumpy old guy who sits out front and glares at people. After I started diving with other shops, he gave me the evil eye for two days. Since SeaQuest is co-located with Oasis Resort, this made my stay at Oasis a bit uncomfortable. After I complained to the Oasis manager, he stopped glaring at me each time I came home to my hotel.

For prices about our courses, fun dives and accommodation you can have a look at our website.
It is correct that you start your course in the pool if you do the Open Water Course. If you want to do the Advanced Open Water Course then you will go directly into the ocean, you will not start in the pool.

Sorry absolutely not. We are a environmentally friendly diveshop and don't promote fish-feeding.
Come diving with us and you might get lucky seeing them in the wild though. We had many sightings recently.

The open water course costs 18450 pesos, excluding the environmental fee.
If you don't want to get certified but you just want to try diving you can do a Discover scuba dive. That will set you back 3150 pesos.
