This is listed in Trip Advsior as Port Chalmers Seafaring Museum ain Main Street and maybe it is the same as the Port Chalmers Maritime Museum in Beach Street I visited. The Museum there is a small charge and it is well worth a visit. It is in the old Port Chalmes Post office

I never knew this museum existed until we stumbled upon it. It has some really cool items and information about Dunedin. I liked reading about the areas origins as a volcano and watching the port in action.
