    What an Interactive Experience!
The Insta-gator Alligator Farm is such a unique interactive experience for kids of all ages. Touching alligators, feeding them, being able to pick up baby alligators and just learning so much about them. Have brought the grandkids 3 times at their request and next year will go in August for the egg hatching!

    Great show!!
We throughly enjoyed our visit. The tour guide was personable and well-informed. The grounds and facilities were excellent, clean and well maintained. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of the tour. We enjoyed the visit as much as our grandchildren, and we learned a lot as they did about wildlife, alligators and habitat. The tour guide was attentive to guests and allowed ample time for questions and photographs. Thank you!

Best Gator Experience + Education too
Great education on conservation program and ranching that allows those who love alligators and those who love to eat alligator space to enjoy this! I have both in my family! I truly believe that our guide and other staff respect and appreciate these amazing animals! We had many opportunities to interact with alligators and learn more about them! Highly recommended by locals we know!

Royce was absolutely fantastic in telling us about alligators and alligator ranching. His animation made his presentation extremely enjoyable and his knowledge was excellent as evidenced by his ability to answer all questions in a complete and comprehensible manner. His ability to keep the young children (three and five years old) as well as the adults engaged was greatly appreciated. The only thing that was disappointing was the actual gator pens themselves; I don’t know exactly what I expected, but it was not a “cement pond” filled with gators. However, even this became enjoyable when Royce regaled us with stories of how he has to literally climb into the gator pens in order to catch each individual gator and the kids loved feeding the gators. The entire staff was friendly and went out of the way to engage my grandsons, even tracking us down to return the candy one had left behind.

This is a very informative tour of an alligator hatchery and farm. Our tour guide, Royce, did an amazing job of explaining the details of what they do and you can tell he loves his job. On entering the facility it does not look too inviting but don’t let that fool you. It is well worth spending a couple of hours here. This is an interactive facility where you can actually touch and hold alligators if you wish. It would be suitable for all ages.

If you want an educational and fun activity to do with the whole family, this is it! The facility is clean (especially for an animal farm) and the Insta-Gator folks are very nice. My husband and I enjoyed the info session before seeing the gators. Our 5 year old had a lot of fun feeding and touching them. The family pic and catch a gator activity is also worth the little bit of extra cost!

We are from Oregon and were visiting the New Orleans area for a wedding. I wanted to see alligators in the swamp, but thought a swamp tour with the 2-grandkids might be a bit much. So I checked into this place. Yes, it was costly, BUT, the experience was worth it. Alex was a great tour guide and I learned a lot about these fantastic prehistoric creatures. I think I was as excited as the grandkids were, the 3 year old wasn't as thrilled as the 8 year old, but we all had a good time! Catching the little gators in the pool was a fun experience. I would love to see an adopt or sponsor an egg program for kids to 'own' an egg and be able to watch it hatch, get updates and maybe show the release. (Doesn't have to be the same egg or gator, just a way to follow the growth of them. I will upload a few photos soon.

I learned a lot about alligators that I plan to share with my class in the fall. The staff was informative and friendly; they also recommended a place for us to eat lunch (which was delicious). You can pay an additional $5 to catch and hold baby alligators. I would visit again.

Our tour guide, Royce, was funny from the moment we parked in the lot to when we waved goodbye. We were there for a Bachelor Party (the groom really wanted to pet a "swamp puppy"), and it was awesome. No matter what age you are, you can enjoy this tour of a GATOR FARM.

The gators were fun to see, feed, and touch. Royce was very informative but in a way that was fun for children and adults. Our group even spent a bit more money on the experience of catching baby gators, which was really cool.

It's all reasonably priced and very much worth it!

The entire area is beautiful and not often visited by vacationers or even people who live in other parts of the state, so the drive is nice. But the Alligator ranch is super fascinating, the guides really know their subject and care about the protection of the species, and explain what they do in a fun and informative way. Holding small alligators is fun and they are beautiful creatures. If you go during hatching season, pay the extra and get the experience of watching a baby alligator come out of its egg!

Absolute 10/10. I’ve lived here my whole life and the tour guide was not only knowledgeable but entertaining. The best part was holding the baby alligators. We will be back again to hopefully hatch a baby one in our hand!
