We stopped in on a whim while waiting for Abita Brewing to open, and we're happy we did! Despite joining an existing tour late, we found our guide (Joe) to be friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. We appreciated the care and professionalism of the ranch in raising the young gators in a clean and controlled environment to optimize their health... More

We were a little wary when we were pointed to a gator ranch, where gators were being raised for food and leather, expecting to find a dirty sort of road-side zoo sort of location. Didn't THIS place end up being a pleasant surprise! The entire tour was absolutely fantastic. Our guide was fun, warm, and friendly, and full of interesting... More

Have wanted to see an alligator, but was not interested in doing a swamp and airboat tour to see them. A co-worker recommended Insta-Gator. I called the same day we were hoping to take a tour. The man that answered the phone was very pleasant and took our names for a 2pm tour. We arrived at the ranch and we're... More

I went here on several school fields trips growing up and then had my neice's birthday party here! Super great place with great people and very educational and fun.

Instagator ranch was nice. Pretty grounds. They gave a nice educational talk then walked you through the property and holding areas. For an extra fee you can hold some of the smaller gators. They also sell the meat with some recipes.

I'm not sure what the appeal of this place is for Louisianians. Very short tour, smelly walkthrough gator barn, touch pool with small young gators, long wait while people queue up to take their picture sitting in or kneeling by a statute of a gator (this took the most time out of anything). If it was half-priced I still would... More

We were staying in Abita Springs for a week and were fortunate in being directed toward the Insta-Gator Ranch as a good place to visit. It would have been worthwhile just to see the programme operating around bringing alligators on from eggs and rearing them for release later in their lives. However, we were even luckier to find ourselves being... More

I'm 19 years old traveling America with my friends who are 19 years old and 22 years old. I found insta-gator ranch while looking on the Internet for a swamp tour. The tour far exceeded our expectations and we had baby gators hatch In our hand and we got to play with real alligators in a pool. This is something... More

They had things made of gator teeth. You could buy. They had little baby's and big ones . Each size was divided small to large. And they would let you feed them

It was some of our family's first time experience with alligators close. Very informative and entertaining for young and older alike. Everybody enjoyed holding a gator. The alligator mortality rate is greatly enhanced by them harvesting eggs and raising them. Really a great field trip for young and old.
