My friend and I did this tour while our fiancés got ready for a wedding they’re in tonight. It was literally SUCH a fun way to kill an hour of our day! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. I’m from the gulf coast and have done similar tours before, and I still felt like I learned a lot. All of the staff was very friendly, and the location was clean, welcoming, and authentic. We didn’t have the best weather for spotting alligators, but our guide managed to find us a few and still pointed out all of the other wildlife and vegetation! Loved this and could not recommend it enough. Such a great value!

This is the 5th tour I've taken with Champagne's. I take one every time someone visits us for the first time. This time, the lake was high because of recent rains and gators were out and visible. Every time I visit the lake looks different. It is a great tour and will remain my go-to. We love these guys.

Our family got there late without a reservation, but Jimmy took us out on a tour and we had a blast. Our kids are 6,4 and 2 and he answered their questions and was patient. We saw tons of animals and had a blast. Would recommend a reservation if you can. Loved it!

We really enjoyed the excursion. Loved that there were no mosquitos. Our guide was very informative of the plant and wildlife. Enjoyed meeting Stella, the resident alligator, and saw quite a few of her pals along the tour. The birds were diverse. Only complaint is that tour was shortened “due to Covid”. How is 1 hour in a boat any less “dangerous” than 2 hours? Price should be dropped if tour is shorter. Having said that, I did think the price was reasonable.

Great tour. Learned much about Louisiana wildlife including gators and all kind of birds. My wife was apprehensive about riding on a boat through a swamp but she found the tour both mild and enjoyable. Dan, our guide was knowledgeable and very humorous. Note: If you pay with a credit card they will add 20 % to your bill.
