These guys are awesome! We called at the last minute in the morning and they were able to get us on a tour that morning. The lady on the phone was very friendly and gave perfect directions to get out to the swamp. Our guide Shawn was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, a true native of the area, and gave us a... More

Our guide, Bob, was excellent: informative, engaging, lively, and respectful of the environment and wildlife. Although, as the company's website says, summer is not the best time for a tour, and late morning is not the best time in any season, we really enjoyed our trip. We saw alligators, turtles, anhingas, and a great blue heron, and learned a lot... More

Butch, the owner, provided a very nice tour. He is very knowledgeable about the wildlife, as well as the history of the area going back thousands of years. We saw a great deal of bird life, but just a few smallish gators (we understand that the tour company does not control them 😄). Very relaxing and enjoyable. I would have... More

Highly recommend! Hot day. Even offered bottled water. Drive down gravel road past the gift shop. Reasonable price and goes everywhere. Doesn't feel commercialized at all.

We were a group of 10 travelling with Capstone Tours to New Orleans and Cajun Country. Most of us would say this was the highlight of their week long trip. We went on the 9:00 a.m. tour. The bayou was serene and peaceful, the weather sunny and spectacular. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with Cyprus trees hanging with Spanish moss... More

Mr. Guchereau is very knowledgeable in botany and biology. He delivered a 5-Star tour! The scenery is spectacular..love the Lotus! The boat moves very slowly and peacefully so as not to frighten away wildlife. However, another tour service disrupted the peace with very loud jet boats. There are no mosquitos in the swamp. But Louisiana heat can be oppressive so... More

We had the most amazing time on this 2-hour tour! The ecosystem is so interesting - the trees are beautiful and the animals (birds, alligators, turtles) are close - and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. we took a break in the shade mid-way through the tour, during which we were each given a bottle of water. We saw over... More

This tour is much more than just a swamp tour this is an education about the swamp and lake. our guide was super friendly and I really respect the stewardship he exhibited in the process of showing us all the various treasures this unique ecosystem has to offer. I have been on other "Gator tours" where they feed the gators... More

This swamp tour with Captain Morgan was by far the best thing that I did in the area. I did it on a whim but it turned out to be fascinating.Yes, there were alligators but the rest of the nature that was seen was just as intriguing. Two hours for $20 is a bargain for the experience.
