We took a bus from downtown to get here, about 40 minute ride up hill. Was so surprised how wonderful this place is. Lots of local and tropical flowers, trees and plants here, good walking path also as well as a store/shop there. Loved the fountain and lily pad pool. But buy mosquito repellent as there are tiny type that... More

One of my favorite things to do in any area is to visit the local botanical garden. I take pictures of flowers and fauna. I enjoyed my day there. I got about 200 pictures. The visit probably lasted about 4 hours including lunch at the restaurant. The restaurant is okay, overpriced as one would expect, but a very nice setting... More

What a beautiful way to spend a day! There are so many trails and hiking opportunities that you can't possibly see it all in a day. The orchids were my favorite as well as all of the floral arrangements. Walking down to the river and putting your feet in it was a peaceful way to end our day. Don't forget... More

We took the local bus to the Gardens and were very surprised at how large the site is and very well maintained. It is full of very beautiful and interesting plants and a good restaurant. As we are both gardeners, we thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the displays. The cooler, fresh air up there is a nice benefit, too.

This beautiful series of gardens up in the forest above Puerto Vallarta is very impressive, despite being just over a decade old and still in development. Our family had a lovely afternoon exploring the pavilions, hiking down to the river and dining at the excellent restaurant, where service was very friendly and professional. Also, there was an excellent gift shop... More

Someone recommended we visit these Gardens and hike the Jaguar Trail and we're so glad we did. The gardens are stunning. The trail leads down to a river that is so refreshing and clear. There are boulders that are bigger than elephants. We really enjoyed exploring the trail and through the river.
