A weekly exclamation of some of the best of Baton Rouge local produce, seafood, and plants in a lively community setting on Main Street downtown. The market is open year-round on Saturday mornings. A complement of nearby cafes and restaurants to enjoy.

We like to support local people. Great for a nice morning walk and to get some fresh vegetables and produce. Bought some local sausage and soups that were delicious. You can spend a nice relaxing morning on the weekend. Great way to start the day.

Plenty of offerings today--plants, nuts, veggies, dairy, eggs, lamb, homwmade sweets, local honey. Pleasant merchants. Strawberries are delicious! Plus a walk around downtown Baton Rouge. Enjoyable.

The farmers market was a quick walk from our hotel (Hampton Inn). It had a nice variety of fruits and veggies and good prices. The peaches we bought were delicious!! It is a smaller market but for the size, was impressive.

Wow, mid March and you could find enough locally produced strawberries, vegetables, eggs, honey, meat, cheese, pecans, to make this locavore happy!

This is a really decent Farmers Market that pops up in the middle of the business district on Saturday mornings. It's a very interactive experience with lots of new things to taste, smell, touch and see. Reasonably priced vendors, high quality offerings, easy to park...More
