This park is pretty nice to visit year-round. There are several components of this Brec park. Directly aside it is the main Baton Rouge City-Brooks park and art museum. This park is pretty kept up, and the location is easily accessible, plus the area is relatively safe. They have some posted rules in this off-leash park such as your dog... More

Raising Cane's Dog Park is the inspiration of the owner of the Raising Cane's fried chicken franchise operation, Todd Graves. It has its roots in Todd's love of animals and his golden retriever (seen with Todd in TV ads) in particular. The park is a great meeting place for pets and owners, with walking trails, watering holes and rest stops... More

this dog park is closer to my house than the one on Bluebonnet. My dogs love playing with other doggies, so they luv going to the park.... I just wish there was a concrete walk around the perimeter of the park inside the fence...it's good to walk around and have my dogs walk with me off leash...it's good because they... More

Very nice dog park. Pet parents probably need to pick up after their pets to keep it nice. Grant location in Baton Rouge.

And the little dogs aren't separated from the big ones. Just one big muddy space for them to run around in.

The Baton Rouge area has a surprising number of parks available and the Cane's Dog Park is one of the better attractions. Well maintained with large expanses of area for big or small dogs to run. Good place to visit if you're a dog!

This is the dog park I prefer to take my husky to. I like it much better than the one on Burbank. It's well taken care of, benches to sit on, pools for the dogs and just the right size. The only thing is it's a little dusty from lack of grass in some areas. Better for large dogs, the... More

By all means, give your pup a chance to run. But, be prepared for lots of dust, dander and dirt. Well fenced, gated and safe but for the occasional alpha dog w/an oblivious owner. Best for large dogs that can take the heat. Not much if any shade. Good hose tho!

Even though it is small, this is a very nice little dog park where there is shade and seating for the humans. There are plastic wading pools for the dogs, baggies for doggie waste, etc.
