I visited the park Sunday with my dog to first hand witness a dangerous encounter first-hand. I'm writing this to forewarn others of a dangerous big black male unneutered dog (looked like a mastiff) whose owner was not monitoring him as she chatted with a...More

This place is gigantic. It is located near LSU. Built by the founder of Canes restaurants. Only comment they should separate large and small dogs. A good park for dogs to run and play.

Very nice dog park. Pet parents probably need to pick up after their pets to keep it nice. Grant location in Baton Rouge.

And the little dogs aren't separated from the big ones. Just one big muddy space for them to run around in.

The Baton Rouge area has a surprising number of parks available and the Cane's Dog Park is one of the better attractions. Well maintained with large expanses of area for big or small dogs to run. Good place to visit if you're a dog!
