Gambling is not my thing, but it is worth a trip to see a first class casino on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. The scenery is very nice and the casino is a large, clean, and not too smokey place to try your luck.

Went to the seafood buffet and they had other items as well as a great dessert bar. Also won at the slots. The place always is so very clean and smells wonderful .

This is a lovely and nice place for anyone touring the Baton Rouge area. They offer gambling, shows, eats, drinks, etc.

The hotel is really nice. I had a not so friendly experience at check in...I was charged a "$50.00 hold fee." Which I was never explained what that was and had to fight for the rate I booked for. The casino paid out NOTHING to me or the folks I was with. Same experience I had with the one in... More

I generally like casinos that give back a little so that one can play a little longer. This is not that kind of casino. You will spend a lot if you are looking for a thrill here. The buffet has great food but don't expect to leave a big winner.

This casino is beautiful but small in my opinion. The slots are somewhat tight unless you're a member and I could see a little difference. They have drink stations everywhere and do have free alcohol while you play so that was a plus. There is smoking here which is okay. I wouldnt go out of my way to play here... More

I live 3 miles from this casino. I frequently go there for lunch in the Bon Temps Buffet. One of the best yet. They have excellent chefs and friendly staff. Anyone over the age of 50 qualifies for a senior discount of $2. Any little bit helps. Daily boiled and fried shrimp and multiple carving stations. As for gambling, I... More

Great poker room in areas of comfort, class and treatment. Play was extremely loose and with many hands exceeding $100 in a $1-$2 game. For me this was perfect as I play a pretty tight game and walked away with over $600 on a $200 buy in. Played for about 2 hours. Regulars will call you down on many draws... More

The building is impressive. The pools and lazy river are beautiful. Our spacious room had 2 queen beds. Everything appeared clean and in working order. We were on the 11th floor and the view was wonderful. Every employee we encountered was courteous and helpful. The skinny on it from my perspective. A friend booked our room. We were in town...
