We traveled here from North Louisiana and had a wonderful time. The zoo is very clean and manicured. We all enjoyed ourselves!!

It's obviously not the San Diego Zoo, but it's a nice place to spend a half day with the kids. The collection of animals is about what you'd expect from a small zoo. A tiger, some monkeys, a rhino, zebras, giraffes and some others. The highlight of our visit was the when one of the keepers was feeding the monkeys.... More

This zoo is in need of serious updates! It has a depressing aura about it! Animals even seem unhappy and want to be rescued!!

This is a nice medium sized zoo. The tiger exhibit is unique due to plexi-glass being the main barrier between you and the tigers! This give everyone a great view and makes for great picture taking! The otter exhibit is housed in a replica of a Cajun fishing shack which also has a plexi-glass viewing area. There are many benches... More

My kids had quite a day going here but one thing you can say is that when we got home they were wore out.

Went there also with to be with family and friends. It was okay for a small zoo. Was told they are looking to buy properly and bring the zoo to update themselves.

I grew up coming here. Some of the exhibits are getting a little run down but they are doing a good job of updating and creating new exhibits. It does get hot during the summer - but welcome to south Louisiana.

This is a nice zoo, not as up to date as the Audubon in New Orleans but a lot better than the Jackson, Ms zoo. The grounds are clean and walkways in good shape and all the animals look healthy. This is a good place to take the kids or just kill a couple hours walking around. There is a... More

This is a nice, quaint, mid-sized zoo. It's a great morning outing. But, if you've been to a zoo in a major city, you'll be disappointed. It has the standard elephants, giraffes, birds, etc. But, nothing exotic. We've had season passes for the past few years and find ourselves not using them. It's a good way to spend the morning,...
