This is a little out of the way but we enjoyed seeing the bridge and the pavilion and reading about it's history. There is a walk way so you can get out over the river and see the bridge very well.

My family and I lived in Wilmore, near to High Bridge Park, for several years while I was pursuing studies in the area. We used to go occasionally over to High Bridge Park, and we try and go back anytime we're back in the area....More

Hadn't been to High Bridge in 20 years... since I graduated. They've built a park and overlook. Definitely worth a SUNSET trip to see!

Enjoy this delightful out of the way park at the end of the road. Beautiful view of the railroad trestle over the Kentucky River. The park has lunch tables and a large gathering place.

The high bridge is aptly named and spans the river at a great height. There is a pavilion available for rent which is great for receptions or reunion events.

High Bridge Park is a fun visit. No charge. See part of our country's transportation/shipping history in this remarkable cantilever bridge construction.
