We enjoyed seeing the outside of the house and the lovely brick walkway with all the names honoured on it. Just wish it had been open when we were there.

Great to see a slice of early Kentucky history. The kids loved seeing a real log cabin. Very interesting place to visit!

It you catch the log cabin open it's a neat place to learn about the history of the area. It is free, with donations to the historical society accepted.

Since my husband dad's name was William Obee Arnold we wanted to see the log cabin. So we went on Thursday. The Cabin is open on Friday, so we just took pictures outside.

Drove off streets from interstate and found this cabin. Stopped and photo taken. I studied this cabin to see how they built without any power tools. It's a cozy home. I can imaged.
