Well you will find out on this informative, entertaining and historic tour of a true American industry. Booze. Kentucky bourbon and why it's so awesome to be specific. The grounds are beautiful! And the 150 year old buildings are truly amazing. If you are anywhere near Versailles, KY (Lexington for example) you must take the time for a tour. At... More

I was pleasantly surprised as I was not familiar with Woodford but after my visit. The distillery was beautiful and the tours sold out (get tickets in advance). We enjoyed their testing and we were educated on the proper way to drink bourbon. Do not pass up and their double barrel is now my favorite.

What an educational tour. It was certainly a trip to the past and celebrated the heritage of bourbon distillers! This was our first trip thru a distillery but I will highly recommend this tour opportunity. The tour guide, Stacy, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The tasting experience after the tour was also educational!

A wonderful experience for friends and guests when they come to town. A beautiful trip through Horse Farms on the way to this historical piece of history. A very clean and informative experience in old brewing traditions. The price of $14.00 is a little high, but it is free for Veteran's and Service members. The architecture of the old buildings... While visiting the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky we visited the Woodford Reserve Distillery. Woodford is a very nice bourbon, and the location and tour lived up to the excellent product. The visitor's center and shop are nice, but the old buildings and location are the highlights. Even if you don't enjoy bourbon, stop by and learn more - you may... More

This was my first ever bourbon tour and it was an excellent experience. James was out guide and he was very knowledgable and entertaining as well. The tasting was a near experience and a build up from what we learned on the tour. The kids even enjoyed it and the chocolate they got at the end. Definitely worth the trip... More

We loved our visit to this distillery. It is nestled in the rolling hills surrounded by expansive horse properties that is just breath- taking. We had the special Flavor Wheel tasting that paired an ounce of Bourbon with 4 different flavor bites which included: parmesan cheese, dried cranberry, dark chocolate and sorghum syrup. Very interesting and informative. To finish the... More

We recently toured 10 bourbon distilleries during a 4 day trip to Kentucky. Some were on the official Kentucky Bourbon Trail and some were not. Woodford was one of the nicest. The visitors center and gift shop are great. One can purchase personalized bottles of the 4 Woodford spirits. There is a small snack bar/restaurant... we only had ice cream... More

I've never been into Bourbon, but a friend recommended to visit Woodford Reserve. So I went there on a Thursday afternoon and I'm glad I did. The location is beautiful with the old houses and I would recommend to take the tour of the distillery. Plan to come there about 1-2 hours before the tour so that you can join... More

This was my first distillery tour on the bourbon trail. So I was very happy to hear when I arrived that it was no cost to me because I was a veteran. It is also my favorite 'go to' bourbon so I was happy that it was my first. Woodford has a beautiful lobby that represents itself with class. Great... More
