This stop on the bourbon your gets the prize for most beautiful approach. Driving past lush horse farms into a verdant valley of white limestone buildings housing some really fantastic bourbon is a vacation treat even if you don't care for bourbon. But go to the tasting anyway, because they'll pair the bourbon with CHOCOLATE!! I'm going back!

The tour of the distillery is awesome! Our tour guide James was fantastic. We learned many things about the bourbon making process and the tasting at the end of the tour was very well done. I've been on tours at other distilleries and none compare with this one!

Great historic Bourbon distillery with excellent scenery and ambiance. The tour was very educational and our guide Terry was very friendly and helpful. Not a Bourbon drinker in the slightest, but still really enjoyed our visit.

This was the first distillery we visited on a 2-day tour of the Bourbon Trail and it doesn't disappoint. I would rate it right up there with the tours at Makers Mark and Jim Beam. Took you through the whole process of making bourbon with a little history and a nice tasting of their Distillers Select and the Double Oaked.

Beautiful area and grounds. Nice modern visitor center and gift shop. But the remainder of the grounds are historical and well kept. Well organized tours but may get a little crowded on weekends. Well done!

This was our first stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. I loved the old buildings of the distillery. So far it's the only distillery to have stone building a. The property is beautiful and feels like taking a step back in time. It is so far the only tour to offer bourbon balls while tasking their bourbon. My favorite bourbon... More

Of the various distilleries on the Bourbon Tour, this tour is perhaps the best one. Gorgeous countryside, historical register buildings, top quality tour. You get to go inside the buildings (not offered on all tours). And their product is Top Shelf.

Pretty place .... Quite a money maker for the company. $14 per person to tour their facility and advertise their product is a little expensive. tastingless than 1 ounce of bourbon for eight dollars per person, is a little pricey

A must stop on the Bourbon trail. James provided a top notch tour that was very informative. The setting around and at Woodford Reserve is absolutely breathtaking, from the horse country to the Buildings at the distillery. The tastings at the end of the tour give you a true sense on how to properly drink Woodford Reserve. This place deserves... More
