Was a mostly enjoyable 4 hour trip. Prices are reasonable, booked online and everything was ready when we showed up.
Employees were not wearing masks, despite two of them working in same trailer when we returned. We also had to pull ourselves out on the ramp as they did not come out to assist us when we returned. Some things to know since you likely won't be able to get ahold of anyone to ask questions. You set out from and return to the same place, so save time and energy for the row back. The waterfall that their workers recommend is on private property and you may get yelled at or worse if you try to actually go to it (we heeded the signs and did not trespass). As far as getting a hold of anyone at this business to get info about the rentals or how they work, good luck. I tried calling and leaving messages, using the contact form on their website, and Facebook Messenger multiple times over the course of 7 days. I got one response via messenger asking me for my phone number, but never received a call and all further messages were ignored. As I said above, the actual canoeing was enjoyable, but as a business they have a lot of growing up to do if they want positive word of mouth.

The staff at Nachland are great! Helpful and polite. We enjoyed our 4 hour rental, but being novices, went a little too far up the creek and had to really hustle to get back in time! Totally our fault - we'll know better next time. Also, be aware that there's not really an easy place to get out and stretch your legs. Harrod's Park has an easily missed "put-in" along the creek, but there isn't a place to beach your kayak - at least not on the stretch we kayaked. Otherwise we had a great time and highly recommend Nachland!

I have been to kayak several times with different groups. It has always been a great experience. The equipment is clean and sanitized - the staff is professional and nice- and Harrods is pretty and lots to see. Follow up with dinner on the river at Captains Quarters and you have A perfect day.

This was a great place for Kayaking. The staff ( Elisa) was so helpful. I plan to return for another fun kayak experience. If you want a fun activity to so, I recommend you make a reservation at Nachand.

The staff was super helpful. We rented 3 sit in kayaks and they assisted with getting us all into the kayak without us stepping into the creek. The kayaks and paddles were in good shape. Don’t forget to take water with you! This was our second time using Nachand and we will return. Harrods Creek is not the nicest water with a lot of stand still water that has a fair amount of debris floating, but easy to navigate. While the water isn’t beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful and shady. Good place to go in dry weather because water doesn’t seem to get low. Definitely a family friendly experience!!

This was my husband and I first time kayaking, the staff was very friendly and helpful, equipment was clean and they provided many options. We had a nice and relaxing 4th of July.

Family owned business. THEY HAVE MOVED! As of my post they are still waiting for signage. Got us in the water quick and out quick. Water was plenty deep. Me and my wife are big Marathon/Triathlon Runners, however our 9&11 yro boys did not exactly help so be prepared to do some work (we had two double kayaks). They even called on the day of our initial reservation and asked if we wanted to reschedule due to possible bad weather. They were clear we could try if we wanted but once we launched there was no refunds and offered whatever future date we wanted. Glad we waited as there was a Tornado in the area that day!!!

We loved our time kayaking. Booking was easy, check in was a breeze, kayaks are in great shape and loved that they had storage. Heading up the river to the right, we loved the restaurants available and stopped into one. Would absolutely book with them again.
