I don't think we have ever been to a more beautiful garden, hidden away in the hills this is a paradise for art and plant lovers alike. It's open on the first and third Sundays of every month and once you've been you will want to go back, we've been 3 times and there is always something new to see. It wonderful listening to the live music as you wander around the garden looking at the incredible number of sculptures, each one unique. Alternatively you can sit in shade by the bar which overlooks the garden, the mountains and the sea.
Even if you're not near to the garden its worth a long drive to get there, you won't be disappointed.

The location is stunning high in the andalucian hills with views to the sea. The welcome was warm. The place is extraordinary. A place of vision and creativity. They run workshops in creative writing ceramics and sculpture here too as well as chamber music at their Sunday open days twice per month.

Spend an afternoon here if you get the chance. Lovely location, in the hills near Itrabo & Jete.
Interesting art and sculpture works set in beautiful gardens. Good seating areas and drinks available.

Live music adds to the experience.

When our friend said she'll take us to the Kitty Harri Sculpture Garden between Jete and Itrabo (inland from Nerja and Alumnecar) we thought she was joking - what, art and sculpture in the middle of nowhere!
The area is very quiet and the approach road to Kitty's a bit daunting. It appears to be just a track leading into the countryside, but don't let this put you off!
It is well worth the effort as when you get to the Sculpture Garden, you will receive a warm welcome from Kitty and her team.
The exhibits and their settings are fabulous, l could go into detail and describe them to you, but I won't, as you need to visit yourself to get the full experience of great art in a beautiful countryside backdrop and outdoor environment.
So, to sum up, if you find yourself anywhere near Granada, Nerja, Motril or even Malaga and want to spend a day out and get some culture and art, go visit the Sculpture Garden..... you won't be disappointed!

This garden is high in the Andalusian mountains with views of the valleys and the distant Mediterranean. There are plenty of places to sit and admire the views, and it is worth visiting for the views alone. The gardens is packed with a large number of sculptures by Kitty Harri and other international artists. These range from recognizable animals to the quite weird. There are also paintings indoors, all of which are for sale. An entrance donation gets you a drink and nibbles and a guide to the sculptures. When we were there it appeared a popular destination for people wanting a change from the beachfront. Only open on Sundays or by appointment.

This is much more than a garden. It has over 100 sculptures by Kitty, her partner Nick and other international artists.

Quite often there is chamber music playing whilst you either sit in the open-air bar area, or when you're walking around the garden.

It is usually open on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month, and the £10 admission fee is good value (correct at the time of writing this review).

It is set in the hillside with magnificent views of the area. This is the second time we've been there, and we'll definitely be going again.
