Very good art

We saw some beautiful artworks here recently. It was a nice way to escape the heat and enjoy the talents of artists.

Hiding in plain sight is this terrific small gallery/museum type art center that consistently presents super high quality thoughtful exhibitions!

This was an art center of local talent in photography. They change the exhibits. They have the Quilting Museum and the River Walk. It is a quaint little town and we enjoyed eating at one of the local restaurants. The staff were very helpful in suggesting other shops to visit.

Nice to see a community art center. It is free and the photography exhibit was interesting. Took us about 15 minutes or so to look through, since it is all in one room. We actually read the placards, which took a little longer than just rushing through the room. After that, we were ready to explore the historic and quaint... More

I toured the Fiber Arts display. It was very interesting to see how various artists used fiber to express beauty as well as political statements. The admission is very low and the display is very well done. It is worth taking a short time to see the Yeiser Art Center.

Hope it gets a push. Only The gift shop was okay, but not one too enticing. Only one work of art on display at the time we visited.

Only for the true die-hard art fans. We saw the exhibit by Gay Speirbhain. I have a certain appreciation for art, but this time it was not for me. Peek in when another exhibit is there. Maybe it will be better. The staff was helpful, though. Hint: First go into the gift shop which is near the front door. Peek... More

I am not very artsy but enjoyed their display of photography. Free to look around but they request donations. Worth a stop by.
