First time visiting location with husband and 2 year old daughter. We wanted to go do something fun and new which didnt include cold weather. I researched and found Aquardens. Very nice location, kid friendly. Most of the staff at the front desk spoke English. Overall great experience until the end. At the end you scan a watch and pay for towels used, drinks, food, etc. Our watch wasnt scanning at the automated machine so we had to make a huge line to see a front desk representative which is also where people where paying with credit cards. When speaking to the representative i was told i owe 56 euro for two towels. However I returned the towels downstairs to the towelboy. The representative was refusing to let me go downstairs to get the towelboy so he can come upstairs and confirm that i returned the towels or to retrieve two towels and bring them up to her. She began to threaten me by holding my watch hostage which I thought was ridiculous. And continued to yell at me to pay the 56 euros. I went downstairs spoke to the towel-boy who gave me two towels to bring upstairs. I had to remake a 10 minute line because she refused to see me. So i had to see another representative who was refusing to help me because i didnt have a watch. I told her that her colleague took my watch. Finally i came to the conclusion that the staff at the front desk are morons. I wasnt dealing with professional people. The towelboy should be at the front desk dealing with customers and the two ladies at the front desk should be cleaning toilets and away from any from any customer interactions. The worst part was that i wasnt receiving this horrible customer service because of a language because they spoke perfect english. They were just being rude to everyone! English, Spanish and Italian speaking people.... they were ALL getting horrible customer service from the women at the front desk. Prior to coming i read bad customer service reviews for this location but i chose to ignore it. Unfortunately, the reviews were correct and nothing has been corrected. Shouldn’t management monitor this page for bad reviews?

What an amazing atmosphere! We enjoyed the Friday night offer trying all the different pools. A very romantic and peaceful place. Just trying only the pools it’s really relaxing. The most beautiful is the open air one... under the stars! The only negative point : very dirty showers! For that level of thermal spa we were impressed how much dirty thy were. Suggesting-more attentions in them this place it’s PERFECT!

Nice environnement. Well kept. To be careful with the kids otherwise can become the swimming pool for family rather than a spa.

We spent a full day in this thermal park, and we all had a relaxing time, including our daughters (aged 7 and 9). Since kids are allowed to enter the center (only in the swimming pools area), the place is obviously a bit messy and not so quiet, and despite we went there during the Christmas holidays and the park was a bit crowded, we did not feel packed. We did not visit the sauna area, but I'm sure it is well kept too. There are several places where you can eat or drink something while in the park.

My wife and sister in law visited by public transport from Varona (102 from Arena about € 4.00 each way). They have used Italian terme/ spa's in other locations. These are their impressions.

The facility A1. Money has clearly been spent to make this a top spa but lack of signage or helpful staff made it hard to make full use of the facility.
Staff. Very poor. Staff have little English (understandable) but seemed to treat their arrival as an undue and unwelcome intrusion and offered no help at all. Is there a clause in their contracts forbidding smiling?
Only help received was from a fellow guest and from the bar and restaurant staff.
Previous reviews have noted problems with towels. This seems to have been resolved - they did not offer any towels at all!
If the management spend even a little on staff training this can become a star attraction.

Would they go again? Yes but with reservations.
Final tip. If using public transport check the times on the roadside timetable. Those from the published schedule are wrong.

We were here looking for a fun afternoon. We didn't like it. A few hot baths and big pool, that's it. Way too overpriced. The sauna is nice though, but you have to pay an additional 10 euro for that... Wouldn't come again.

Everything is new and clean and nice. Staff is very friendly. Self-restaurant is great - nice food, good price.
We've spent 3 wonderful days there.
The only thing - it is hardly accessible by public transport. A shuttle bus from Verona would be a good idea.

My 9yo and 6yo can’t stop saying “that aquapark was amazing!” And it really was pretty great. One thing to know... this is not a amusement park. It’s not really made for young kids. It is all about relaxation. Many different pools of varied temperatures. Plenty of shade and indoor areas. We went on a Thursday and arrived around 10:30 and it was not even 1/4 capacity. Yeah, it’s not cheap and the food is just ok for the price... but it’s a wonderful place to relax and wash away all stress.

We visited on the Saturday of Easter weekend so as expected it was busy, however the ticket queue moved quickly and the simple changing room system meant it didn't feel manic. You get a wrist band so anything extra you buy is tapped an then you pay this at the end.

As a group of 3 30+ year olds, we had a great time, enjoying a moderately priced cocktail in the water bar and then switching between all of the pools and the steam room and salt pool. We didn't realise it was open until late- it looks like it would be fun in the evening.... Provided you don't drink too many cocktails and then sink!

There were 2 relaxation rooms which were, in theory, lovely, however there were a lot of noisy children in them who were taking up the beds, I guess this is down to parenting but I feel that Aquardens could make one of these rooms Adults only to provide a more pleasant experience.

There were different options for lunch, we went to the self service bar which was on average €10 for food and a drink. I had a pick N mix salad for €4.50 which was more than enough.

We paid an additional €1.50 for a disposable bikini which allowed us to go for a sauna experience, I've never seen anything like it so recommend you check this out (specific times).

Aquardens could probably do with a little refresh in places to spruce it up but the facilities more than provided a lovely day!

You can get a bus from Verona (I can't remember the number but have a Google!) which is €3.60 each way, when you get off the bus it's a short walk up main road. Our bus driver was kind enough to give us directions anyway!

If you've forgotten swimwear Aquardens sell it at Reception.... €9 for a simple bikini, much cheaper than anything you'll find in Verona.... Trust me, we looked!!

We stopped for a hot choc and little snack before heading back to the bus.... Pretty tasty!

The place is amazing, bis enough, lot of relaxing areas, clean, pools outside funny and also very big. I loved the Kneipp path and the steam room (without paying the spa ticket). We picked up the wrong day because it was very busy... I went there with 2 girl friends on January 4th, which is considered a bank holiday (and we paid more) and it was very crowded. They do not get excellent in this review because I took a shower which was not working properly and because we could not use the sauna for the lack of information (naked or swim-vest, which towel admitted). I rang the day before but I got no answer (line were too busy due to Xmas holidays). Booking online in these busy days is recommended, we did it and did not have to wait too long (see picture)
