We met inside the Gangsters Dueling Piano restaurant, and the first part was done there with a wonderful presentation. Then, we took a walking tour around Monmouth Street and surrounding area, so there is some walking and some sitting in the cool AC. We learned a lot about the history of old Sin City, and it was very interesting and... More

We had learned some of Newport's gangster history at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas last summer. This was the perfect tour to round that out. We met at the Piano bar - before it opens so no worries about noise. Our guide, Craig, talked us through a slide show looking at some of the more colorful characters in the... More

Great look into the somewhat little know history of Newport, KY. If you're into mafia-related history or just history in general, then this tour is a must. I won't spoil anything, but I will say if you go on the tour, prepare to be surprised at just how connected Northern KY is to some major events in the US. Definitely... More

Took the tour and it was chilly and rainy. Craig was able to make this tour a very fun and informative tour. Even with a large group (umbrellas and all) we were still able to hear him speak above the traffic. I would highly recommend this tour.

First you listen to a story at Gangster Piano bar. The guys screamed everything he was saying. He need to just talk loudly, we could of heard him. They also should of taken us into a bar or something, instead of just looking at building. I did the Queen City underground Tour and liked it much better.

It was so interesting to learn the history of Newport and how the lead to Las Vegas casinos. I enjoyed it so much!

Great tour of Newport "back in the day" when gangsters owned the gambling joints and the gin joints. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. He explained how the company came to be and how everything that is related in the tour has been researched and is fact. Before going on the 90 minute walking tour of Newport, a... More

A very interesting (and entertaining) tour of Newport with the emphasis on it's gangster days. It is a walking tour that fills in a lot of details of just how much was going on 'back in the day'. We were surprised at how much we learned.

The Newport Gangster Tour was a great visit to the past! We enjoyed walking and seeing places that were once part of Newport's colorful history! We had no idea that before Vegas, Newport was the gambling mecca and the place to be! I highly recommend this tour. We did the 5:00 tour and then stopped and had a burger at... More

My husband and I did the gangster tour in the fall 2012 and we really enjoyed it. It was the last tour available for the year and it was a little chilly that time of the year so it would be better to go during warmer months. The guides were great, they were lively and made sure everyone could hear.... More
