A landmark in the area. It is actually located near the intersection of ky 211 and hwy 36 on the bath and menifee county line. The map is showing it as being in morehead, ky but i have submitted a map update which will hopefully be corrected. Carrington Greens golf course sits at the base of the cliff as well as Rudys horse ranch.

This is not a hike for someone who is not use to walking a pretty good distance and you do need to be fit enough to do some climbing up a steep rock. But, if you enjoy a challenge then it is worth the effort to take this adventure....The top of the rock has amazing views!!!

This place is very beautiful and a very quiet and serene place to be. I would recommend for anyone to come here, it has such a peaceful feeling, just being there, seems to relax you.

If you are in the Cave Run Lake area this is a great place to enjoy a day hike. Not overly strenuous or technical and easy to find.

Beautiful view! Not an easy hike to find no Trailhead parking or Trailhead sign. Half the fun was trying to figure out where we were going. We wound up parking at a Journey's End lodge and getting directions from the Inn keeper. The trail has had many horses on it and can be muddy. The views are worth the hike.
