We did The Spell, tasked with killing a vampire, and it was very enjoyable. Our host did great job aiding us with the clues we asked for while not givin us the answers directly. Most of the puzzles dealt with objects being magnetized and was not distractingly scary. Definitely will be returning! We did it with 2 people and found it do-able

Our family of 6 had a terrific time at Talon Falls Escape. We had kids ages 10-17 with us, and all of them enjoyed the experience and asked to come back. Our guide did a great job explaining the adventure. We were given options of easy, moderate, or hard levels. As it was our first time doing an escape, we chose easy. The tasks were fun, and everyone in our group was able to participate and join in. The rooms were not scary (we did the SPELL) but were themed. We were able to ask for clues at times when we got stuck. We will definitely return for another quest in the future - it was a fun family outing enjoyed by all!

Had been waiting to take my friend to their first escape room. Started out fun. Got stuck in the 2nd room. Attempted to summon the GameMaster for what felt like 20 minutes to get a clue, no response. FINALLY got someone’s attention to move on… then 2 of the puzzles weren’t operating correctly. Basically just gave up at that point. Should’ve at the very least been allotted more time. 👎🏼

The girl told us to not touch anything with an orange dot on it. We were at the Back to the Future family friendly escape room. We did not touch anything with an orange dot but we were told we had to search for clues. My daughter touched some cards that had tape on them mistakenly thinking it was a clue. The owner a blond older gentleman rushed in without a mask after they told us to remove our masks that we were alone and rudely said we had messed up a clue and fussed at us. At the same time it was extremely hot in the room and my daughter and her friend got nervous at that point and was a bit afraid of touching anything when the point of the game is about finding clues. We asked to exit the room and left early. We will never be back nor visit anything else owned by this gentleman I believe they stated his name was Todd. Often times when people experience success instead of using that success to treat others well and help them they believe that is a free card to talk down to others not even taking into consideration who the other person is or the stresses they are experiencing. Kind of a miserable time really.

We love comming here every year so much that my daughter got a job there! Great place for thrills. The costumes are unique, they have good snacks, and a great gift shop. I highly recommend buying the full package for a full night of fun.

My husband and I took our daughter and son to an escape room at the beginning of 2022 and discovered our kids loved it, so it has become a fun family activity. We have since sought out various rooms and challenges, including when we travel, so we genuinely have a decent exposure to compare businesses to each other.

During our current family vacation, we opted to tackle Tallon Falls' most difficult room, the Antidote.

Pros:
1. The staff were helpful to rearrange my original booking when we had a schedule conflict. This was completed WELL in advance of the original scheduled event.
2. The staff member that greeted us was polite.

Cons:
1. The handwritten items were challenging to read (ie: It was difficult to distinguish between capital letters and numbers due to the similarities, thus wasting time.
2. Different styles of handwriting were used on items throughout the room which wasted time. The same #'s looked different due to the penmanship, again leading back to difficulty distinguishing if we were reading numbers or letters.
3. The game master was running multiple rooms simultaneously. Although this is somewhat impressive, it also wasted several precious minutes at one point because we repeatedly requested a clue, to only end up waiting several minutes to receive one; because the game master was delayed since she was helping the rooms who had completed their escape and were doing photos etc. That delay was at no fault of my family and wasn't factored into the overall time at all. In fairness, how would the game master know how long we had been waiting? Needless to say, we felt frustrated sitting there watching the clock run down on the tv screen when we could have used an available clue. Our recommendation for Talon Falls Escape's business approach, pause the room for other participants who are still in play and have them step out during the transition so you can account for the time properly and not penalize them. This is in our opinion, still a weak method, but more acceptable than continuing to use others' time who are genuinely waiting on a clue.
4. The rooms are not fully enclosed. Specifically, the ceilings are open at the top of all the rooms. At first this was extremely distracting until we found our groove. Afterwards, it was occasionally distracting because of the noise from the other groups. For this type of event, disrupting the concentration of an escape room messes with the overall immersion and enjoyment of the event.
5. In their introduction video, you are asked to empty your pockets and phone into a bin. (This is the first escape room we have been to where it was stated it is considered cheating if you took a cell phone into a room even if you kept it in your pocket and did not use it.) Therefore, your items were REQUIRED to be placed into a bin that goes behind the front desk. ***Please note, the video did state they promised your items would be secure.*** However, this is absolutely NOT secure. We understand if the business elects to operate this way out of a desire to protect their escape rooms from potential recording. That information should be posted online so customers can come prepared and secure their items somewhere else with a lock and key. If individuals cannot be trusted to keep phones in their pockets and not record, then why are paying customers obligated to trust the business to involuntarily secure their personal items with a mere verbal promise of accountability? Customers are left hovering between faith items will be secure and trust items will be secure. We were immediately uncomfortable with this but complied with the rules and settled with hope our items would be secure. Again, we understand businesses operate differently, however, all other escape rooms we have been to have given us the option to place our items in a locker. The locker is then secured with a lock, and the key to the lock is authorized to stay with us until we are done in the room.
6. The ideas are unique for the rooms, and undoubtedly have potential. The setup and staging are weak and need significant improvement.

My family and I left Talon Falls Escape very disappointed. Not because we failed to escape, but because the cons from our experience easily outweighed the pros. We unanimously agreed we would not elect to go back to this escape room due to the lacking experience.

Our rating is for the pros we experienced. Our booking experience and staff interaction saved Talon Falls Escape from what we would have rated 1 star review.

Did this for mother days with 2 adult children and spouse. It was more difficult than anticipated I highly suggest easy mode if this is your first experience. A little pricey for the space but it was fun.

While a little on the pricey side, this place was AWESOME!! I highly recommend visiting all that they have to offer. FYI...it’s cheaper and faster if you just buy the tickets that include all the attractions with the speed pass included. That place as packed last night and LOTS of scares!! I’m 41 years old and not easy to scare, but I almost had a heart attack in some of the attractions!!!!!
