I agree with the other reviews to an extent. It is expensive coffee / tea but you do not need to buy anything.
They went through the process which was good and then sat you down for samples. There isn’t any pressure to buy, just sample. But it was tasty and my whole family was surprised it tasted so good.
Everything doesn’t have to be dirt cheap in Bali. This would be a reasonable price in US/ AUD

The place is lovely but it is totally a tourist trap. The ginseng coffee I purchased doesn't taste anything like the one I had at the tasting. Also it was overpriced. They give discounts selectively. Very scammy!!

Small site with personal guide, showing stages of coffee growing and preparation, a coffee and spices tasting session, and of course the famed Luwak coffee. Because its small, its more intimate and interesting. I think I was the only visitor there at one point, so I had the charming local guide all to myself. Tasting session is really interesting, more so than I expected, don't skip this. It's not a place to spend a long time, but a pleasant stop on the road to one of the other local attractions. Well worth a visit.

The whole thing felt sus from the beginning, starting with the insistent suggestion from our Grab driver to visit a one-of-a kind coffee plantation on the way to Ubud. The place was way too small to actually grow anything and it was packed with salespeople all too willing to show us around and sample the products. The teas were way too sugary and the coffee too burnt; everything was overpriced. Skip or avoid.

Your 'Guide' will take you here. Do not buy anything. All products are over priced. The Luwak coffee cannot be verified. The tour is basically a primer for the shop which is vastly overpriced and you basically learn nothing. This place adds no value to a tourist's understanding of Bali except the bitter taste of being ripped off.

Shame on the Australians who run this business. The least you could do after ripping people off is make sure the coffee you sell is halfway decent.
This business operates by giving a kickback to taxi drivers who ask their fares if the would like to 'visit a coffee plantation'. Sounds nice, but you're strong-armed into buying a cup per person of a drink in order to receive a tray of 'free samples' of some random teas and coffee. It's not a real plantation, they have a luwak in a cage (btw, read up if you don't already know luwak coffee itself is a scam and a gimmick and doesn't even taste good).
The shop is full of very overpriced products that are of extremely low quality. I feel bad for everyone who has to be involved in this sham business.

We didn't intend to go in but were walking past doing a round trip from our villa for the morning. We were cordially invited in and it's for free, so we thought we would take a look.
Our 3 minute guide of the fruit including coffee bushes, cocoa plants, a few sleeping civets, etc that the nled us to a tasting hut where we freely sampled many of the teas and coffees available. No pressure and quite relaxing. There is a shop their to purchase some goods but no high pressure. A little over-priced but given the free tea and coffee & amiable surroundings it wasn't a big deal to buy some beans

Only went the second time so other family members could experience the Lewak Coffee. My wife purchased Ginseng Coffee and Vanilla coffee at $20 each, not worth it for mostly sugar and only enough for 4-5 cups. The Ginseng coffee tasted burnt, so threw it out don't waste your money. You can buy these coffee's in the local supermarket for half the price.
The tour of the production is worth one visit, and interesting. Won't be going again.
