It has been a good experience, the place is clean, very well kept and safe. It feels great to take a dip, renews and relaxes you. I chose the service of a local guide Jacoon Huina from Mr. Teobaldo, helped me solve many doubts, has been very helpful. This is your wpp I highly recommend /999 /745 760

Amazing waterfall about 3 hours from Pucallpa. Very accessible and well maintained. More than
worth the S/5 entrance fee or about $US 1.75.
The photo ops are plentiful. The park closes at 5pm and you should allow at least 3 hours to really enjoy everything. There are clean bathrooms where you can change into swimsuits. There are two fairly large pools formed at the base of the falls and while cold, the water is very clean. They falls also have two lifeguards on duty during operating hours. There are two decent restaurants and some street vendors. Avoid the street vendors and eat st the restaurants located about 50 meters down the path. Your stomach will thank you.

It's a waterfall located at 3h from Pucallpa, you can go on "colectivos" or by bus to Aguaytia and then to the fall but it's totally worth it. It's a huge waterfall with a little pool at the bottom where you can easily swim, 5.6m deep. The entrance is 5 soles and you even have a restaurant inside where you can have lunch before taking the road back. For me it took 1 day to do everything. :)

It takes a full-day trip to visit this place. Usually the shuttle picks you up between 7 to 8 am in Pucallpa, and then begins to go up southwest. At 9, while still in the plain, the van pulls over and we can try different juices in a stand next to the Federico Basadre Highway (the one that connects Pucallpa with the rest of Peru). After a half an hour, we get into the shuttle again and start seing a different landscape because the altutide is higher; it is more like a forest now. Around 10 we stop again to enter a store that sells chocolate made of cacao in a high percentaje. After 20 minutes we are finished and head to the city of Aguaytia. We stop again to taste wine made of local fruits and finally we go to the waterfall. It is very interest beause this wonder lie just entering into a mountain range named Blue Mountains (Montañas Azules) across a 60-meter-long tunnel. You have to cross one hanging bridge to get to tha waterfall, where you can swim if you wish. If you walk across two more hanging bridges you get to an outlook where you have a different view of the site and get beautiful pictures. There is a restaurant there and also toilets and dressing room to change closes and put on your swimsuit. All the mountains are full of vegetation, and with a clear sky, you will feel like in paradise.

Pleasant stroll along the river to the waterfall, which is very pretty and has places to dip your feet in the water (which was refreshing and lovely on a hot day) or to swim across for the more adventurous. OK restaurant though the service left something to desire, as it was slow and didn't seem to be on a first come first served basis. Coffee and juice at the cafe a bit lower down was fine.

I took a collectivo from Tingo Maria to Aguaytia, and I got off at the waterfall. In the morning, it was rather quiet. The surrounding area is scenic. I exited by the Eastern side, and I just walked 1 km through other minor waterfalls to a good, cheap roadside restaurant. Then I flagged a mototaxi to Aguaytia. Just 1 km further the scenery completely changes and you enter the Amazon basin with palm oil business. The hotel Harry in Aguaytia is excellent and good value.

It is a very nice place in the peruvian jungle, around 3 hours away from Pucallpa. You can go there with family or friends to relax and also take a swim. The place is not so very big but worth to go and take a look if you are travelling out there.

Destination impossible, 3 hours if you are in Pucallpa, spectacular view and with the security of having 2 lifeguards that guide you to where you can advance according to your swimming skills.
I went to my parents, who at their age require personalized and patient service and in our Guide I found it. Thanks to TripAdvisor because through you I found Mr. Teobaldo, super friendly and empathetic to the needs of his clients, he has the fixed for all tastes and budgets. From start to finish Teobaldo is telling you everything Pucallpa has to offer, as well as the history of its own region. Super happy and grateful to him. You will not regret it if you are placed for the tour service, I leave your number because the good is shared, 999745760.
