Me and my wife 4 year old son and 14 year old son bought tickets online. the seats were row h which is the second row from the front not the back as we though from the app picture. So we go to find some one to help first young man was very nice then a manager came over very nasty and rude told me I made a mistake because I didn't know what I was doing but she would give us a refund any way. I said i don't want a refund i want my kids to see spiderman like i promised them can we just see a later showing since this ones sold out, she said no so i told my wife we will just watch from the second row which is very uncomfortably close. She gets nasty again stating some of there guests love the front so I shouldn't be upset. We are only going to watch the movie because of our kids and after concessions we have spent 115.00. She says i'll just show on the app it was your mistake sir. My wife says our movie has started 3 mins. ago and you dont have to be rude and nasty to customers. So then the manager calls for us to come back to have a conversation we state our movie has started sorry we are going to watch our movie, so she says at the top of her lungs FINE SEE WHAT I DO. Me and my family just go to the movie. 45 mins into the movie the poilce dept come into the theater during the spiderman movie and make our family leave with a police escort out of the building. I would NEVER go to any Xscape theater again EVER.

We've lived in J-town for about 4½ years and this was our first visit to Xscape. Now I'm kicking myself that it took so long.

The movie? DUNE. I know that it was available for streaming at the same time, but some movies you have to see on the Big Screen. We were in theater X2, which has a seriously BIG SCREEN. Something like 70 feet across and 3 stories tall.

And speakers? 8 along each side, and 8 along the back...and then I think there were 16 in the ceiling. SIXTEEN. I didn't even notice the overhead speakers until the promo before the movie called them out. That adds up to A LOT of speakers.

We had pre-purchase our tickets, so we went right to the concession stand. Popcorn and Pibb? Yes, please! For a small bag of popcorn and a medium drink it was only $12. Based on current concession trends that's actually very reasonable.

Behind the concession counter is the drink/butter station. The age old "how do I get the butter farther down in the bag" scenario appears and there's just no way to do it without making a mess, so don't try.

The seating in X2 is very stadium, very roomy, very non-obstruction-y, and very awesome. The seats are enormous and recline nearly all the way back. Now THIS is comfort. I will admit that the leather is a bit....aged...but it still sits nicely. There's also plenty of leg room for those that are apt to get up in the middle of the movie. No need to re-create the Bugs Bunny scene as he moves down the aisle saying "Excuse me. Pardon me. Excuse me. pardon me".

Once the movie started it was a great experience. That enormous screen coupled with the incredible digital projection was BEE-YOO-TI-FUL. Add to that the completely immersive sound and it was a fantastic movie experience.

I'm kicking myself because I hadn't gotten to Xscape sooner, but now I want to see ALL my movies in that theater.

Of the several theaters in Louisville with reclining seats, this is the best. The seats are wider and are easier in your neck when tilted back. Screens and sound system are first class. Slightly pricy when compared to others.

Bummer. We had planned an afternoon movie and drove to the Xscape theaters to see it. We all had a discount coupon that says right on it: “Coupons may be redeemed by printing the coupon or by displaying the coupon image on a smart phone.” The combination concession stand cashier/ticket seller advised us that they are not allowed to give us the discounts without a printed out, paper, coupon - even though we showed her what the coupons said. We paid full price for everything but we won’t go back. All the other theaters honor their coupons. By the way, it was their own coupon and not one from another company. Each one had an individual coupon Id on it.

Theater that had the best seat in the house at one time it’s still an OK place to go. With other theaters following suit they are slowly coming mediocre. But the one thing that holds this theater out among everybody else is it Soundsystem and screens there’s nobody in town going to beat this place when it comes to those two things.

This place was absolutely disgusting today. The floors, the restrooms, even the chairs had to be wiped out just to sit down. Popcorn and trash all over the floors. Only 2 people working concessions so there were about 40 people in line and we even arrived 20 mins earlier. Line didnt go down until about 30 mins into the movie!

A great place to watch a movie!!!!! No games, so no kids hanging out. Serves alcohol. Big screens and great sound quality. Great place to watch your favorite movies coming out.

Husband and I frequent to this theatre at least once per week. We live more than 25 Miles (1way) but prefer this location over others for many reasons. The reclining seats are awesome. Self serve kiosks makes for fast ticket purchases and skips the long lines. Plentiful parking spaces.
On our visit this past Sunday, it was crowded, as expected. We were able to purchase our tickets quickly and choose to get our seats before getting concessions due to the long lines.
After a few minutes or so, I went back to the lobby and found the lines were no shorter but I took my place among the other customers. I stood in line for at least 10 minutes with no movement. There was at least 8 customers in front of me and another 8-10 behind me.
A worker opened up a line right next to ours and instead of taking the next in our line, all the customers behind us jumped over. After 25 minutes in line, I finally made it to the register to order.
I have suggested to management that on days there is large crowds expected, they should use a guided line system. This will allow for swift service and avoid line jumpers.

This is a great place to watch a movie especially if you’re a Marvel fan. The 70 ft screen and surround sound is amazing. We love the reclining seats. The popcorn is great too!
