We were in the area and decided to take this tour while road tripping the area. First you should know that this is not a working distillery. This is really just a location for barrel storage and aging. It is a great historical site with...More

This is a must stop tour. The history of stitzler cannot be overstated. It is the legend and still making good bourbon under bulleit. The tour was entertaining and fun, the tasting is big, with large pours of 5 different samples. Great way to start...More

Home of Bulleit bourbon but on the grounds of deep seeded bourbon history. Don't miss this one. Wonderfully kept grounds that allow for guided or personal tours both. Weekends may be too crowded to enjoy the general splendor and the products. See reconstructed offices of...More

Bulleit is my favorite bourbon, so we definitely wanted to visit this Frontier Whiskey experience during our recent trip to Louisville. Entry was a very reasonable $14.00, considering that there were four samples to taste. Our tour guide was a young woman who knew her...More

Great place to go to hear a detailed history and learn about everything that goes into the process of making a good bourbon. I'd go here for the full tour then hit some other distillers for their tastings!

Yes you do not have to do the tasting if you take the tour but there maybe an age restriction for tours.

I would say no. It’s an informative way to get to know the process and the company. If all you want is a sample, hit the local bar, they would be happy to oblige.

I don't think so, but you could definitely ask. They were so nice and helpful on the phone... I would actually just call them.
