Old Louisville Ghost Tour as Recommended by The New York Times

50 reviews
Tours daily from March 15 through November 15; limited dates in the off-season!

The fascinating historic district known as Old Louisville has gained national exposure because of its impressive Victorian mansions and quirky residents. Developed in the 1880s and 1890s, it attracted the Derby City's bourbon barons, racetrack royalty, and titans of tobacco. This narrated walk is based on books by storyteller David Dominé, who often shows up to guide groups himself. The tales shared involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip. The New York Times recommends a tour with him as the first thing not to miss during a visitor's "36 Hours in Louisville."

Specializing in "America's Most Haunted Neighborhood," we depart from the corner of Fourth and Ormsby, at the transitional edge of the neighborhood. If you love old architecture and spooky history, this is the tour for you! If you do not like an up-and-coming neighborhood with a diverse racial make up, this tour is not for you!

Stopped in for a drink and a stamp on my Urban Bourbon Trail passport. Great service and friendly conversation.

We had a lot of issues with this hotel - the rooms, the communication with the front desk, etc. A big thank you to David Hall for helping us out and resolving our problems. The rest of the staff could learn a lot from you! Kudos!

We spent 5 nights at this unique hotel in a great location. The rooms are very nice, but the hotel includes a museum open 24/7. Plus the dining room is very foody and the bar has very local Bourbon selections. Also, there are Bourbon tasting rooms all around to explore. Plus 4 fantastic museums to visit within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are already planning our next visit!

We come here frequently when we decide to eat downtown. 21C is an outstanding restaurant town. Choosing 21C is never a mistake.

When we visited, there was a corporate function going on downstairs so we didn't see the entire museum. What's there is neat, but not overwhelming by museum standards. We sat in the bar and had a drink. Very interesting and ecclectic bartenders.
