Old Louisville Ghost Tour as Recommended by The New York Times

50 reviews
Tours daily from March 15 through November 15; limited dates in the off-season!

The fascinating historic district known as Old Louisville has gained national exposure because of its impressive Victorian mansions and quirky residents. Developed in the 1880s and 1890s, it attracted the Derby City's bourbon barons, racetrack royalty, and titans of tobacco. This narrated walk is based on books by storyteller David Dominé, who often shows up to guide groups himself. The tales shared involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip. The New York Times recommends a tour with him as the first thing not to miss during a visitor's "36 Hours in Louisville."

Specializing in "America's Most Haunted Neighborhood," we depart from the corner of Fourth and Ormsby, at the transitional edge of the neighborhood. If you love old architecture and spooky history, this is the tour for you! If you do not like an up-and-coming neighborhood with a diverse racial make up, this tour is not for you!

Cool chocolate store in the heart of Louisville. The chocolatier is the first to be certified to pair chocolate with bourbon. We came to this place as recommended by the Angel's Envy bourbon tour guide. That's where they had some of the chocolates. The store is small but has a great selection of treats. We got dark chocolate covered pretzels that were delicious. You'll have to find a parking garage or street parking to get to the store.

While this place is known for their bourbon infused truffles - the caramels are the bomb. Love them. Wish I had bought more. If you enjoy chocolates or caramels - make the time to stop by when you are in Louisville.

Love this place, staff was friendly. She passed out a yummy sample of a chocolate truffle to us. There are bourbon chocolate truffles sold here, bourbon cherries, small batch liqueur truffles, jewellery, bottles of bourbon etc. When you walk in there is even a Christmas tree made out of bourbon barrels and they have a empty bottle of Blanton's as their Christmas tree star on the top. Definitely stop in here to fulfill a sweet tooth craving.
