I booked this tour and later realized I needed to change the date. I called the number and the booking was instantly and politely changed. The trip started on time with a very knowledgeable guide who spoke clearly and well. He answered all questions directly. We thought the city was covered completely, there were many facts but also amusing stories and humorous anecdotes. Millionaires row was impressive. The only thing that I thought could be improved was the stop at the Kentucky Derby Museum was way too short.

We scheduled a tour of Louisville with Trolley Deville for for our fifth day there. Were a bit concerned it would be repetitive since we would have been there so many days already. Not an issue!! As we navigated the streets of Louisville the drover (co-owner?) pointed out numerous buildings and statues and just plain interesting locations we had not “seen” as we passed them by the days before.
Besides great and often amusing information on everything we passed and what happened or had happened at varied location, we got to painlessly see the many neighborhoods of the city including “Old Louisville” - a collection of HUGE and (mostly) still beautiful homes. Then, after slowly passing through the campus of University of Louisville we made a quick stop at Churchill Downs. Not enough time to take a tour or catch a race, but nice to see. Knew it would be an interesting way to painlessly explore the city but was also part comedy show.
Highly recommend the tour and not missing their company’s small gift shop on 3rd floor of the building where the tour starts.

I had a great time on the Trolley de'ville fun tour. It was a rainy day and still got to see lots of sight and our guide Adam was great had non stop information on all sights around the city and very helpful information, We could hear him very well and well spoken. Knows his stuff. The trolley was clean and comfortable. For the money spent it was a Great time had. Got a nice stop at Church Hill Downs , saw saw neat historical mansions and a good variety of sights. The Trolley co. also has a very nice little gift shop to visit after your tour with nice local items.

My wife and I have taken city tours all over the world (mostly hop-On-Hop Off) and this was one of the best. they packed a lot of information and history into an hour & fifteen-minute tour. We were just amazed at what Louisville has contributed to American history and culture. Very highly recommended. Do it first thing!

I am a life long resident of Louisville and took friends visiting from California on the tour. Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and quite entertaining. He was able to cover a lot of ground and provide interesting facts in the 90 minutes allotted. The pick up and drop off spot is convenient and the Trolley is very comfortable. I highly recommend Trolley de 'Ville tours.

We take bus and trolley tours when we visit any major city. The Trolley de'Ville I must say really has arranged things with the convenience of the customer a priority. Parking is right there at the Galt house hotel and it was only $11.00 for the day. There are restrooms throughout the hotel available to the public and the trolley boards out in front of the lobby. Very easy to get to. Adam our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us an excellent overview of the city. My only disappointment was the fact there was no opportunity to take pictures of some very interesting architectural features around town that could not be captured through the trolley window. Otherwise I would have rated 5 stars.

My husband and I had only one day to spend in Louisville and this was the perfect way to see and learn about the city. Adam, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge and fun trivia (I’ll never look at a disco ball the same way). The trolley was clean and comfortable. Adam answered so many questions!! He also gave us great tips on places to go for the rest of our visit. I would absolutely recommend this tour as a great first day stop to learn about what this fabulous city has to offer.

Adam was very knowledgeable about the city and offered many recommendations before and after the tour to us, as we were looking for places to check out during our trip. What a great way to explore Louisville! Adam is very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour allows you to see a lot of the City and hear unique stories about them. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Louisville!

Can I get off the trolley if I find something really interesting and than get back on another trolley? Does your tour go by an of the breweries?

Thanks for your question. Our city tour is not a "hop-on and hop-off" type of tour. It's fully narrated and gives you a great overview of the city. Our one stop is at Churchill Downs, home of the Ky Derby.
We will pass a downtown brewery on the city tour (if construction detours allow). But if you want good local beer we now offer a Trolley Craft Brewery Tour. Our first one is Feb 4th and by this summer it will be a weekly event. We'll stop at 3-4 local breweries for flights of their delicious beers and get behind the scenes for an insider's tour at one of them. All this information and more is available at our website.

I'm sure the receipt on your phone will be fine. If not, the tourist center is across the street from the trolley and they sell tickets so I'm sure they could help you.

Cost of the tour - is there a senior rate?
The senior rate is $20 if you are over 60. Otherwise it is $23.
