It seems interesting when you see the stire and exhibition but when the tour starts its not that interesting at all. I felt I could do other stuff with the time that I spent there. I think the tour should create more possibilities andd contact with the creating process.

Made an appointment for me and 3 children. Mark was great at explaining what to do at the perfect level for each child. So much to see in the work area that kids were entertained even when it wasn't their turn to work one-on-one. They were all very happy with their items. Chose this experience as it is not something... More

I love the walk-in workshops that they have at Glassworks. They have projects to fit any budget and ability. This can be fun for a girls day out or as a project to do with children or grandchildren.

A beautiful space for events. We were there for a wedding and the decor, service and food was amazing.

My husband and I got to learn how to make a glass kiss with Mark today. It was a fun and informational experience. Mark was great to work with and made the whole experience one of the high points of our trip to Louisville!

Really neat building that has been converted into a couple glass-themed sales business plus you can watch glass art being made. I understand you can take classes there but I didn't see that at the time of day I was there. Really neat observation area where you can watch different processes from safely behind windows. Really, really cool stuff on... More

Not fun, would have rather spent the $12 bucks for my husband and I to do something else. Looks fun if you can do it your self, but we couldn't afford it.

This is a self guided tour using information on a sheet you receive when you pay. There are two distinct areas to visit. The large area had about 6 people making large glass items from the big glass furnaces. Upstairs there were a couple people creating small items from glass rods. Both areas were unique and gave a lot of... More

My husband and I decided to check out Glassworks while visiting Louisville. We were both glad we did. Very interesting and creative art form. We had a session with Mark in the Payton Glass Center which was absolutely awesome. Mark is a down to earth, nice guy who takes you through the process of creating your own piece of art.... More
