Great mall to go shopping, eat, or spend some time with the family. They have a food court with a number of places to eat including Chinese food and sandwiches. They also have a few different activities for the kids including Round One which includes a huge arcade, bowling, and pool tables. The place could use a little bit of modernization but not a bad place to spend and hour or two.

Sad state of affairs

This was the place to go back in the day. Now it's just a mess. So many foreign kiosk operators were coming up to me and practically begging for me to look at their goods. I ended up just leaving. I wouldn't imagine this mall has much more time left, and it's so unfortunate.

We aren't much of the mall shopping family but the Jefferson Mall is a fun trip for us now and then when we are in the area. Clean and bright. Good selections too! If you are a mall shopper this just might be a favorite place to visit.

I visited this mall today, it’s not big and everything inside looks mess and crowd. I couldn’t get what I want.

A little sad mall

When I first arrived for our stay in Louisville I needed groceries and wanted to walk around so I went to Jefferson Mall. A lot of stores were closed down unfortunately. The JC Penney does have a Sephora which is nice. Hopefully it will turn around and get more stores.

Succumbing to the mall blight

It's the same story that's playing out at malls everywhere. More people order online so fewer people go to malls to shop, stores leave, malls just turn into places places to mostly hang out while a handful of people shop.

To be sure, there are plenty of decent stores in the mall and the food court is OK, but there are also lots of "filler" businesses occupying spaces and a ton of obnoxious kiosks throughout the corridors.

If you're after something specific from one of the stores here, and you're in the area, this is an alright place to get it. However, it's definitely different from the other malls in the city. We aren't "let's go shop and hang out at the mall all day" people, so this is generally fine for us. If you are, one of the other malls might be better suited for that.

Seen better days.

I was in the area looking for a pair of jeans for my daughter. Fortunately I found a pair at JC Penney but this mall has little to offer. This is considered a blue collar working class neighborhood therefore merchants think they can offer you less than you deserve here. If you are a serious mall shopper the better malls are in the East End of Louisville. Consider Oxmoor Mall or Mall Saint Matthews first if in Louisville. The Macy Department Store is now permanently closed. The food court is lackluster. If you are a tourist here there isn’t any attractions in this area either. I wish I could something more positive about it.

Good if you live in the area but you should really go elsewhere....

If you are visiting from out of state, I recommend visiting Oxmoor or St. Matt's malls. They are safer and have more variety. Plus, they have quite a few local crafts that you can pick up for souvenirs. For locals and people who live in the area, it is not a bad mall. It has quite a few clothing stores and I really like the shoe store in the mall. Plus, FYE and few other hard to find stores across the country. Be prepared to run because you will be harassed by the Dead Sea Products people. The mall can be a bit rough so be wary.

Visit the other malls in Louisville, not this one.

This mall offers nothing special. Caters more to the lowered tier nation chains, you won't find any higher end retailers here. My biggest issue with this mall was the number of teens just hanging out here on a Saturday. With the way things are today, it just gave us a very uncomfortable or uneasy feeling while trying to shop. On future visits to Louisville, we will not make a point to shop at this mall again. The other two indoor malls in the city located near one another are a much better option for out of towner's and locals alike.
