I'm not a boxing fan but I do know who Muhammad Ali is and I was just not impressed. It is close to the Louisville Slugger factory. It's a beautiful building on the river with great views but I thought it was a little underwhelming inside. My husband thought it was just OK. LOTS of kids visiting when we were... More

We learned some things about the Champ that we didn't know before visiting this museum. Most of the information is on the 4th and 5th floors. There are a few hands on items to check out.

This isn't a museum full of artifacts. While there were some, it largely consisted of different videos and things to read. The did not only portray him as a hero. He spoke of his faults and of speeches he regret saying. I left feeling more in tune with my soul.

I visited the Muhammad Ali Center over the 4th of July weekend. We visited on a Sunday morning and the center was somewhat crowded, but the center is a must see for anyone visiting Louisville. I would like to revisit when less crowd, but overall it was a very nice experience and gives a complete history of the "Greatest".

Interesting, but I will say it wasn't what I was expecting! I was expecting more artifacts or "museum type" pieces to look at. It was a lot of reading and video watching.

WOW WOW Did I learn a lot! Eye opener... One suggestion, allow at least 90 minutes to enjoy the entire Center.. and take your time.. Strongly suggest that you go.

Loved sharing Ali's greatness with my 9 and 7 year old sons. Quite an impressive museum highlighted by a phenomenal opening movie.
