This place is really cool. We enjoyed our visit very much - lots of history mixed with interactive exhibits. We went on a Saturday and it was incredibly crowded - maybe week days aren't like that. I felt like we missed several parts due to the number of people there. Overall, a great place!

Our entry fee was only $5/person due to a whole floor of the center closed for renovation. No complaints here, just a heads up if you're traveling there end of July 2016. I'd call first to make sure all exhibits are open. I do feel like we missed out on a lot of cool stuff - but still a fun... More

The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville is an impressive structure outside and interesting museum inside. Not all the exhibit space is being used yet and some places had signs that said “exhibits coming soon” but the ones that were there paint quite a picture of the man who was Muhammad Ali. I really enjoyed the religious aspects of the center... More

For a newer resident of Louisville this was a great way to get a feel for the history of the area. I had not realized that Louisville was his hometown.

I and my two daughters visited the Ali Center this winter. He has a large presence in Louisville, his hometown. The photos with narratives were educational and we all learned information about Muhammad Ali we did not know. It is a walk through, and the time can go by quickly. Film of Ali in many displays takes you through this... More

We are fans of Ali but cannot classify ourselves as "die hard" fans. We enjoyed the intro film and walking through all of the galleries. We spent a little less than two hours but a true fan can easily spend a whole afternoon, if not longer, reading everything and viewing all of the short films. This museum is a beautiful... More

Great museum to visit! The movie to start the tour was informative and the museum was well set up. Set time aside to visit this even if you don't know much about the man.

The center was closed when we walked to it. We walked around the courtyard outside of the building and went to the upper level overlooking the river. As it was near sunset, it was a great place to watch the activity on the river and watch the sun go down.

I'm not personally into boxing and didn't know a lot about Muhammad Ali's life. People have always revered him so much that I thought the museum was worth a look. It is a beautiful place! You start the experience with an introductory video, which was quite informative. There were numerous interactive exhibits, all very well done.
