Easy facility to navigate. Just be careful if you need seating in a handicapped area. Seating charts are not accurate. Thankfully the staff worked with us to exchange some tickets to get into a handicapped area but we did have to split our group up.
What a great concert venue. My husband said the arena was one of the best in the country for sound. Listening to Bob Seger was like listening to an album.
Our seats were way up there...abot 6 rows from the top but a good view...More
We have been going to concerts all over the country since 1968 and have seen some of the greats. Some are no longer alive. Our list is extensive and amazing. We fully understand and expect a different environment if venues are larger and Musical groups...More
We went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and had a suite. This was a very good experience. This was my first time in the YUM Center. The acoustics for a concert were really good. The service in the suite was only average (likely the person) as...More
Had a great time. Yum center is a wonderful place. All of the staff was so nice and helpful.Getting into the Yum center was so fast and everyone around us was so polite. I love this place looking forward to another visit soon.
Great venue... Entering venue was quick even with searches. A little dark trying to find the actual seats. Thankful part of the party had entered the seating area and came back to find the others since it was not numbered well. Did not see any...More
This was our first time here and we thought it was very nice. The building was very modern and it was easy to get to our seats. The lines were long getting in but we weren't in line long they did a good job in...More
I have visited the KFC Yum Center for games and concerts and the one feature that is always in common is the easy access and flow of traffic leaving the event. We have found that we can leave our seats and be on the interstate...More

Parking at the Yum Center is a wonderful perk. Convenient, and easy to leave provided you don’t waste time at the end. Once you have your ticket scanned you can’t leave. So, park, shop, eat and do all that you want beforehand and what I learned is they have bars n the bottom level of the Yum Center so, I didn’t like the opening acts for Brad Paisley so I waited there. Hope this helps.

Parking and dinner Saturday night (2 Replies)
This coming Saturday night we will be in town for a show at the KFC Yum! center. I am trying to find somewhere for dinner that is within walking distance of the arena, a few blocks would be ok though. My other question is where is the best place to park? We plan on getting in town around 4:30 or 5 and having dinner before the show at 7:30. Thanks for any help you can give!

We just attended the Eagles concert. We arrived at the Galt House at 4:30. Jeff Ruby's opened early for the event and at 5 pm, we couldn't get a seat in the bar, which we had planned (no reservations required) Instead, we went to Rivue at the Galt House and had appetizers in their bar area. If you want to plan an early dinner, I encourage you to use opentable or call the restaurants for reservations. Remember, there is a free trolley which runs a good size route around the city, so it's easy...More

Hi all - What hotels are near the KFC Yum Center? Maybe in walking distance? Thanks!

Please read my long reply to "hotels near Whitney Hall". In it, I explained to the person how to get a 3 1/2 star downtown hotel on Priceline for around $50. Even if you are upgraded to the Brown Hotel, we have a free trolley which goes all over downtown Louisville. Any of the 3 1/2 star hotels (Galt house, Marriott, Hyatt) are walking distance to the Center. However, there is no reason to pay full price when Priceline works so well for this area.
