A really interesting small museum exploring how Portland was settled and the people who made it the special place it is today. Really enjoyed the parts on Paul Hornung and on the steamboat captains.

The Portland Museum is a must for Louisville residents. It's a little jewel tucked away in the old Portland neighborhood. Find out the true beginning of this town on the Ohio River. This place is awesome, as a kid growing up in Portland they had a history club, they took us all over the Portland area told us all about the history of why Portland has its name today, they taught us all about the different houses that were built in the upbringing of Portland, they will take you on a tour... More
