About MARK PAYTON GLASS CENTER. WELCOME to the newly remolded and improved Mark Payton Glass Center, formally known as Glassworks! We are located in the Glassworks Building in downtown Louisville, KY (directly behind the Slugger Museum and on the same block). We are a locally owned and operated glass art activity center. Our Mission is not only to wow you with the beauty of glass, but also to educate you with our many hands on workshops. We have a "Fused Glass Workshop" that all ages enjoy. Also, offered are "Flame-Your-Owns". This is a hands on activity working directly at the torch with Mark Payton The owner.

The artist being here and blowing glass while we were there made it come alive. The hot room was closed but you could see artist at work thru the windows! He sells pieces from 10 dollars and up! Fun!

Amazing what you can do with glass. You can watch them make stuff through a large window and seating overlooking the large scale factory and roam through a large shop with lovely finished items to buy, then go into Mark's shop to make your own...More

We arrived later than planned, and yet they stayed open for us! Amazing customer service! Rachel helped us step by step, and we had such fun! Thank you for accommodating us even when it inconvenienced you.

This was our first time at the Mark Payton Glass Center. Wow! Great, personal experience. Highly recommend this place. Mark helped my wife make a glass pendent. Please check this place out. Kids would have a blast too.
